DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of transferring ink to a veneer used to form a laminated decorative material, and relates to a method of transferring ink to a veneer used for forming a laminated decorative material. 4, apply an adhesive to the surface of the veneer 5, align the printed surface of the ink 4 with the adhesive-applied surface, press it, then peel off the sheet 3 and apply the ink 4 to the veneer 5.
This relates to a method of transferring ink to a veneer, which is characterized in that the printed surface of the veneer is transferred.

When ink is printed on a polypropylene sheet, the adhesion between the ink and the polypropylene sheet is poor and the ink peels off during handling. In addition, when printing on polyester sheets, the cost is high because the sheet needs to have a certain thickness, and when a polyester sheet printed with ink is placed on a veneer after applying adhesive, and several sheets are stacked and pressed, the adhesive The agent may seep to the back of the veneer and stick to the surface of the polyester sheet, making it extremely difficult to separate the veneers.

The present invention was invented in view of the above points, and its purpose is to print ink on the polyester sheet side of a sheet made by laminating a polyester sheet and a polypropylene sheet and to transfer the ink. This has good adhesion between the ink and the sheet, and can be done at a low cost.Furthermore, even when multiple sheets are stacked and pressed, a polypropylene sheet with poor adhesion is located on the back of the veneer and seeps into the back of the veneer. To provide a method for transferring ink to a veneer in which the veneer can be easily separated without sticking to the adhesive.

The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to Examples. Sheet 3 used in the present invention is polyester sheet 1 (PET
sheet) and polypropylene sheet 2 (OPP sheet or CPP sheet),
Ink 4 is printed on one side of the polyester sheet of sheet 2. Apply adhesive to the surface of the veneer 5,
The ink 4 printed surface of the sheet 3 is pressed against the surface coated with this adhesive, and then the sheet 3 is peeled off and the ink 4 printed surface is transferred onto the veneer 5. In this case, mass production can be achieved by stacking several sheets 3 on the surface of the veneer 5 (the surface coated with adhesive) and pressing them. At this time, even if the adhesive applied to the surface of the veneer 5 seeps to the back surface of the veneer 5, it will not scratch because the polypropylene sheet 2 of the other sheet 3 is in contact with the back surface of the veneer 5. , the veneer 5 can be easily separated. This is because the polypropylene sheet 2 has poor adhesive properties, and this property is utilized. The ink-transfer veneers obtained as described above are laminated integrally on a mold plate with an adhesive between the ink-transfer veneers to form a fritch to produce a laminated decorative material. It can also be sliced to produce laminated decorative veneers.

In the present invention, as described above, ink is printed on the polyester sheet surface of a sheet made by laminating a polyester sheet and a polypropylene sheet, and an adhesive is applied to the surface of the veneer. After pressing the ink-printed surface on the veneer, the sheet is peeled off and the ink-printed surface is transferred to the veneer, so the adhesion between the sheet and the ink is good and the ink can be accurately transferred to the veneer. When pressing multiple sheets with sheets placed on top of each other, even if the adhesive seeps to the back side of the veneer, the back side of the veneer is still in contact with the polypropylene sheet, so there is a risk of it sticking to the veneer. The veneer can be easily separated, and the sheet must have a certain thickness, but since the sheet is made by laminating a polyester sheet and a polypropylene sheet, an expensive polyester sheet can be made thinner. This allows the cost of the sheet to be lowered.

A 12μ thick polyester sheet and a 30μ thick polypropylene sheet (OPP sheet) were bonded together using a urethane adhesive to form a sheet, and nitrocellulose ink was printed on the polyester sheet surface to a thickness of 3μ. After applying 100 to 110 g/m 2 of urethane adhesive to a Shina rotary veneer, a sheet is placed on top of it, and several sheets are stacked and pressed at a pressure of 10 kg/cm 2. After the adhesive has hardened, the sheet is peeled off and the ink is applied. A transfer veneer was obtained. In this case, the ink transfer was good and the veneer could be easily separated. The thus obtained transferred veneers are then pressed on a template using an adhesive to form a frit, which is then thickened.
A cedar-like decorative veneer was obtained by slicing at 0.3 mm.
