用状態で本体が立たないと、掃除機本体を床面等
に置くときに掃除機本体が転倒し、その勢いで内
部のゴミが飛び出たり掃除機本体を置く高い場所
に置く場合には掃除機本体が転げ落ちるという可
能性もある。しかもこの把手部分が掃除機本体の
上方に大きく突出し、収納スペースが多く必要で
あると共に見栄えも非常に悪いものであつた。

吸口2から排気口(図示せず)に至る空気通路中
に位置する。一方、電動送風機6のモータ部及び
蓄電池7は、上記空気通路とは区画された空間部
に収納し、特に蓄電池7を収納する空間部は掃除
機本体1の後端に開口し、該開口を介して蓄電池
7を交換できるようにしてある。
