Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily manufacture an enameled wire with a uniform finished outside diameter by providing a wire drawing process of a running wire with a die in a coating-baking process. CONSTITUTION:A wire drawing process of a running wire 1 by means of a wire drawing die 7 provided in a coating-baking process. The running wire runs coming into contact with a dipped vanish coating roll at the lower side of a vanish tank 2 where the wire 1 is coated with insulating vanish at the whole surface thereof by means of a squeezing felt 4. The coated vanish is baked to the surface thereof in a baking furnace 5 and the baking is repeated by several times to form an insulating film. The running wire 1 which has finished coating and baking is once drawn by the die 7 and then, cured once in the furnace 5. It is thereby possible to easily manufacture an enameled wire with a uniform finished outside diameter.

[Prior Art] A conventional method for forming an insulating film on an enameled wire is as shown in FIG. After applying the insulating varnish, the varnish is applied to the entire surface of the running line 1 using a drawing felt 4. The applied varnish will burn.
It is baked onto the surface of the running wire 1 in a furnace 5 to form an insulating film. By repeating this painting and baking process multiple times, a finished outer diameter within a predetermined range was obtained. However, since the amount of varnish applied tends to change due to fluctuations in varnish viscosity, temperature, linear speed, etc., the finished outer diameter has been adjusted while adjusting the rotational speed of the varnish application roll 3.

FIG. 4 shows another conventional example. In this example, the drawing felt shown in FIG. 3 above is replaced with a painting die 6. Since the amount of varnish applied is almost determined by the outer diameter of the coating die 6, the finished outer diameter is relatively stable. However, fine adjustment of the outer diameter of the finishing requires replacing the coating die 6 with a different hole diameter.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The felt drawing method shown in FIG.
There is a drawback that fluctuations in the finished outer diameter are likely to occur. To prevent this, equipment such as indoor temperature control and varnishing is required, which increases the cost of equipment extremely. It is also possible to adjust the finished outer diameter by frequently adjusting the rotational speed of the varnish application roll, but automatic adjustment similarly increases equipment costs, and manual adjustment lowers work efficiency.

In the die drawing method shown in Fig. 4, the only way to adjust the finished outer diameter is to replace the coating die, which reduces work efficiency and requires a large number of coating dies with various outer diameters. It is necessary to keep it on hand.

[Example] The present invention will be described below based on the illustrated example. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the invention. It should be noted that the same parts as in the prior art are given the same reference numerals, and therefore their explanations will be omitted. In this embodiment, a step of drawing the running line 1 using a drawing die 7 is provided in the painting/baking step. By doing this, the running wire 1 is drawn by the drawing die 7 during the painting and baking process, and the finished outer diameter of the enameled wire can be easily made uniform. It is possible to obtain a method for manufacturing an enameled wire that makes it possible to easily manufacture an enameled wire with a uniform finished outer diameter.
