複数のシフトポジシヨン間に揺動操作可能に車
体へ支持されたシフトレバー及び車体側の部材の
うちのいづれか一方に支持され前記シフトレバー
の揺動軌跡に沿つて凹凸が形成されたカム部材と
、他方に支持され前記カム部材を弾性力で挟持す
る挟持手段と、を備え、前記シフトレバーの揺動
操作時の前記カム部材と挟持手段との相対移動に
よりシフトレバーに節度感を付与する自動変速機
用シフトレバー装置の節度機構であつて、前記カ
ム部材及び前記挟持手段のうちの一方が他方に対
して接離する方向に揺動可能に前記シフトレバー
又は車体側の部材に支持されることを特徴とする
