Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate active and high-efficiency separation of unnecessary materials from vegetables, by providing a water tank with an overflow port, partitioning the part having the overflow port in the water tank with a float- separation frame having a bottom made of a porous material and applying vertical reciprocal motion to the separation frame. CONSTITUTION:A water tank 1 is provided with an overflow port 9 of washing water. The water in the water tank 1 is flowed from one end to the opposite end with a paddle wheel 2. Vegetables cleaned with water is discharged from the water tank 1 with a lifting apparatus 5 attached to the opposite end of the tank. The part having the overflow port 9 is partitioned in the water tank 1 with a float-separation frame 10 having a bottom made of a porous material. The separation frame 10 is subjected to vertical reciprocal motion with a driving means composed of a crank rod 11, crank 12, etc. The unnecessary material can be actively and efficiently separated from vegetables without causing the clogging of the porous material of the bottom of the separation frame 10.

Since the separation weir 25 is disposed half-submerged in the water surface in the water tank 20, fine floating objects floating on the water surface due to water washing pass through the comb-shaped side walls and flow into the separation weir 25, causing overflow. It is also discharged from the discharge port 26.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In conventional water washing tanks, as in the example mentioned above, the water flow always hits the separation material such as a comb in one direction, so the vegetables being washed are blocked by this. This caused problems with separation, and workers sometimes had to remove them by hand.

(Means and effects for solving the problems) In the flush water tank according to the present invention, the part of the water tank where the overflow port is provided is partitioned within the tank, and a floating matter separation frame whose bottom is made of a porous material is provided. This separation frame is configured to give vertical reciprocating motion.

Root hairs, insects, dirt, cuttings, etc. are separated from the vegetables by passing through the porous material at the bottom, and these are then discharged along with the overflowing water from the overflow port of the aquarium.

When the separation frame 1o is lowered diagonally downward by this crank movement, it pushes the vegetables in the water tank 1 into the water, and at this time, only unnecessary substances such as grains, root hairs, dirt 1, and insects pass through the porous material at the bottom. It enters the separation frame 10 and floats, and is discharged from the overflow port 9 together with the overflow.

In the embodiment described above, a crank motion is applied to the separation frame 10 to displace the separation frame 10 in the direction in which the vegetables are transferred by the water flow in the water tank, so that the transfer of the vegetables is not obstructed. However, if the water flow in the water tank is sufficiently strong, the separation frame may be configured to simply be moved back and forth in the vertical direction.

(Effects of the Invention) The present invention has a structure in which a part of the washing water tank where the overflow port is provided is partitioned in the water tank, and a floating matter separation frame whose bottom is made of a porous material is provided, and this is given vertical and reciprocating motion. Therefore, this separation frame moves downward while pushing the vegetables in the tank downward, and at this time, the grains that are about to float together with the vegetables.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the separation frame reciprocates within the water tank, unnecessary substances can be positively and effectively separated from vegetables, and the multi-hole structure at the bottom prevents clogging. It never happens.
