- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 車両後方の障害物を検知する後方感知センサと
、車両後方の視野をキヤツチする後方監視カメラ
と、後方監視カメラによりキヤツチされた車両後
方の視野を画像表示するデイスプレイ装置とを備
えた車両用後方監視装置において、 前記後方監視カメラの光軸を水平及び垂直方向
に移動させるカメラ駆動部と、 前記後方感知センサからの信号を取り込み障害
物と車両との位置関係を演算すると共にその演算
結果に基づき前記カメラ駆動部に制御信号を送出
する制御コンピユータと、を備え、 障害物の存在する方向に向け後方監視カメラを
自動的に移動可能としたことを特徴とする車両用
後方監視装置。
