Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a core member from exposing on a pipe passage and from contaminating a fluid by attaching melting synthetic resins of a melting softening condition to the core member in such a way that an edge surface of the core member is wrapped in an interior surface covering layer of a compound pipe and a connecting surface of a pipe socket. CONSTITUTION: After heating a joining section 14 of a compound pipe 1 and a joining section 23 of a pipe joint 2, the both joining sections are broken away from a pipe heating mold 4 and a pipe joint heating mold 5. The compound pipe 1 is engaged inserting into the pipe joint 2. In this case, an outer layer 13 of the compound pipe 1 is attached melting to an interior surface of a pipe socket 22. Melting resins in the pipe socket 22 or the like, which pushed to a partial stopper 21, are reversed and inwardly protruded to attach melting an inner layer 12 of the compound pipe 1. So the core member 11 is completely wrapped in melting softened synthetic resins.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The method for connecting composite pipes of the present invention has been made to solve the problems of the prior art, and consists of thermoplastic composites on the outer and inner surfaces of the core material. A method for connecting a composite pipe having a resin coating layer and a pipe joint having a pipe socket, the pipe joint having at least the pipe socket formed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin of the same material as the coating layer of the composite pipe, When connecting, each joint is heated to melt and soften, and as they are inserted and connected, the melted and softened synthetic resin wraps the end face of the core material of the composite pipe and fuses them together. The gist of this invention is a method for connecting composite pipes characterized by the following.

(Function) The method of connecting a composite pipe of the present invention is to heat the joint between a pipe joint and a composite pipe to melt and soften the joint, and then insert and connect the composite pipe using the synthetic resin that has become melted and softened. Since the inner coating layer and the connection surface of the tube socket wrap and fuse together the end surface of the core material at the connection portion of the composite pipe, the core material is not exposed.

(Embodiment) The drawings show an embodiment of the connection method of the present invention, and in FIG. It is a composite tube in which an inner layer 12 made of polyvinylidene fluoride and an outer layer 13 are molded by a co-extrusion method, and in FIG. 2, 2 is made entirely of polyvinylidene fluoride and molded by an injection molding method. It is a pipe joint, and a stopper 21 is formed by protruding an annular lip approximately at the center of the inner surface, and pipe sockets 22 and 22 are formed on the left and right sides of the stopper 21, and the pipe sockets 2
2 is expanded in diameter toward the outside and is tapered.

In order to connect one end of the composite pipe 1 shown in Fig. 1 to one socket 22 of the pipe joint 2 shown in Fig. 2, it is necessary to first heat each joint. For this purpose, a heating mold 6 as shown in FIG. 3 is used. In the figure, a tube heating type 4 made of aluminum or iron and coated with polytetrafluoroethylene on the surface is attached to one side of the plate-shaped sheathed heater 3, and a tube heating type 4 made of aluminum or iron is attached to the other side. Alternatively, if a pipe joint heating type 5 made of iron and whose surface is coated with polytetrafluoroethylene is attached, and a nichrome wire (not shown) buried in the sheathed heater 3 is energized,
The tube heating mold 4 and the pipe joint heating mold 5 are heated to a predetermined temperature by thermal conduction. The composite pipe 1 is inserted into the annular groove 42 provided along the inner circumference of the circular concave portion 41 of the pipe heating mold 4, and the pipe fitting 2 is inserted into the substantially cylindrical protrusion 51 of the pipe joint heating mold 5.
Insert the sockets 22 of the composite pipe 1 (the part in contact with the pipe heating type 4 in the drawing) 14 and the joint 23 of the pipe fitting 2 (the part in contact with the pipe heating type 5 in the drawing). After heating the synthetic resin at 260 to 270°C for 5 to 20 seconds at approximately the same time to melt and soften the synthetic resin at each joint 14 and 23, both are heated by the tube heating mold 4 and pipe joint heating. It is removed from the mold 5, and then the composite pipe 1 is inserted into the pipe joint 2 as shown in FIG. At this time, due to the pressing force during the insertion and the compatibility of the synthetic resins, they were fused together as shown in FIG. 4.

The outer layer 13 of the composite pipe 1 is fused to the inner surface of the pipe socket 22 of the pipe joint 2, and the molten resin in the pipe socket 22, etc., which has been partially pushed toward the stop 21, is reversed by the stop 21. The core material 11 protrudes inward and is fused to the inner layer 12 of the composite tube 1, and thus the core material 11 is completely surrounded by the melted and softened synthetic resin.

(Effects of the Invention) A method for connecting a composite pipe of the present invention is a method for connecting a composite pipe having a coating layer of thermoplastic synthetic resin on its outer and inner surfaces with a core material in between, and a pipe joint having a pipe socket. , use a pipe joint whose at least the pipe socket is made of thermoplastic synthetic resin of the same material as the coating layer of the composite pipe, heat each joint to melt and soften it, and then fit and connect it. This method wraps the end face of the core material of the composite pipe in a molten and softened synthetic resin and fuses it together, so the core material is not exposed to the pipe line and does not contaminate the fluid.
