おいては駆動ギヤとチエーンとの間の抵抗力にあ
わせてチエーンを弾引するスプリングの弾引力が
そのまゝ付加されたものであり、腕力のみによつ
て持続させる駆動桿の引込み操作にあつては運転
者に過度の負担を掛ける他、腕力の弱い老幼者並
びに身体障害者にあつてはこれが大きな支障とさ
れた。

方端を張ギヤ9を介して車体フレーム2に繋止さ

ン8の張設態様をもつて所謂滑車様とされて設け
られる張ギヤ9をもつてなされることにより、該
チエーン8の所定量の引込み操作に際しても、該
スプリング10がチエーン8に直接取付けられる
場合に比してその引伸し量並びに張力を半減さ
せ、該スプリング10に弾引力の減退しない比較
的強いものを用いた場合においても、該チエーン
8の引込み操作に掛かる負担を軽減し得た。
