本発明はかかる従来の欠点に鑑み、竹の表面に
着色することにより、材料費の安い通常の竹に青
竹の如く化粧を施すことによつて、あたかも切つ
たばかりの青竹のようにして目立つ場所にも使用
できるようにしたもので、その構成はサンドペー
パ仕上げを行つた竹の表面全体に、自然の竹の色
をした緑色又は黒色の塗料を、１回又は複数回塗
装して乾燥する第１工程と、竹の節の各下側位置
に、前記塗料又は接着剤を用いて白色粉を環状に
付着させる第２工程と、この白色粉を不完全に拭
き落として濃淡を付けた白線を形成する第３工程
と、各節の頂上部を若干研削して塗料を除去した

化粧竹の表面全体にワツクスをかける第５工程と

色粉を不完全に拭き落として濃淡を付けた白線を
形成する第３工程と、各節の頂上部を若干研削し

第４工程で出来た化粧竹の表面全体にワツクスを
