Traditionally, bamboo has been used as a building material in a variety of buildings, such as pillars for alcoves, pillars for shelves, sawabuchi on ceilings, bamboo fences, and even bamboo verandas. There is. but,
When raw bamboo is used as it is, it has a natural feel and is beautiful for a short period of time, but as time passes, it changes color and has the disadvantage of creating cracks in the bamboo.

In view of these conventional drawbacks, the present invention has been developed by coloring the surface of bamboo to make ordinary bamboo, which is cheap in material cost, look like green bamboo. This product is designed to be able to be used in the field, and its composition consists of applying one or more coats of green or black paint, which is the natural color of bamboo, to the entire surface of the bamboo that has been sandpaper-finished, and then drying it. a second step of attaching white powder in a ring shape to each lower part of the bamboo joints using the paint or adhesive, and forming a white line with shading by wiping off the white powder incompletely. The third step is to remove the paint by slightly grinding the top of each joint to remove the paint, and the fifth step is to apply wax to the entire surface of the decorative bamboo made in the fourth step. It is characterized by:

First, in the first step, the entire surface of an ordinary bamboo 1 whose surface has been thoroughly cleaned is ground with sandpaper to form a rough surface, thereby increasing the adhesion of the paint. In this case, since the surface of ordinary bamboo is often dirty, the surface is thoroughly washed and then thoroughly dried by natural or forced drying. In the case of green bamboo, simply wipe the surface dry.

Since the surface of bamboo has poor paint adhesion, the surface is roughened using sandpaper, and the convex portions on the surface are ground to form a flat surface. The surface of the bamboo is then cleaned, and the surface of the bamboo that has been sandpapered is painted with green or black, which is the color of natural green bamboo or black bamboo, once or multiple times while drying.

Painting methods include brushing and spraying, but when painting, it is better to apply several coats of thinner paint than one coat of thicker paint. In particular, if the entire surface of the bamboo is lightly ground with sandpaper, the paint will adhere even better and the efficiency of the painting process can be further improved.

In the second step, the same paint or adhesive used in the first step is applied in an annular manner to the lower side of each of the plural nodes 2 on the bamboo 1 to form an adhesive part 3 of a constant width ( (Fig. 2), white powder 4 such as heavenly pollen is adhered in a belt shape to this adhesive portion 3 to form a white line 4a (Fig. 3).

In the third step, after the adhesive part 3 is dry, the white powder 4 is wiped off completely, and irregular white lines 4b with mottled shading are formed on the underside of each node 2 (FIG. 4). By providing this white line 4b with shading on the lower side of each node 2, the feel of natural bamboo is expressed.

In the fourth step, the mountain-shaped top portion of each joint 2 is lightly ground to scrape and remove the paint, thereby forming a paint-free portion 5 (FIG. 5). By forming the paint-free portion 5 on the top of each node 2 in this way, it is possible to create the feel of natural bamboo.

Incidentally, by removing the knots or splitting the back of the bamboo as necessary, air can be circulated and the generation of cracks in the bamboo can be prevented. By the way, if green bamboo is collected in early autumn, it will have relatively few splits since it contains less moisture.
