(Prior art) In general, weft yarns are inserted in a warp knitting machine from the rear of the machine using the flat needle 39 and the ground pattern yarn feeding reed row group 13, 13...
This is done by inserting a weft thread 35 between the interstices. (Refer to Figure 10 A) (Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in knitted fabrics knitted by the conventional method, the finish of the knitted fabric cannot be improved with fine weft yarns or yarns with smooth surfaces. During processing and processing during the product production stage, slippage and misalignment are likely to occur in the weft (width) direction, and in the pattern structure, the pattern effect due to the weft is affected by the accumulation of background pattern yarns above or below the weft. There were problems such as significant interference.

(Means for solving the problem) The present invention solves the problems of the conventional method, and by knitting by inserting the weft threads into the warp threads, the weft (horizontal) direction of the knitted fabric is improved. The purpose is to obtain stability and clarify the pattern effect of the weft yarns. The structure is such that the knitting latch is placed above the axis of the knitting latch needles along the needle hook, which is fixed in the center of the warp knitting ratchet machine. A reed support shaft is provided, a ground knitting reed support board and a handle knitting reed support board are fitted to the support shaft, sandwiching the latch needle axis, and a reed is provided along the middle part between the support boards. A guide rail is attached, and the weft thread is inserted by a weft feed roller fixed to the lower end of a carrier 15 that reciprocates on the guide rail from a crank disk via a fan-shaped gear and a sprocket.

The details of the structure will be described in detail below with reference to the embodiment shown in the drawings. From FIGS. 1, 2, 4 and 5, the needles supported by the central frame of the main body 1 of the warp knitting ratchet machine A knitting hook 2 is provided, a knitting latch needle actuating table 3 is provided along the needle hook 2, and an elevating shaft 4 that moves up and down is fixed to this, and a roller that can slide inside the cylinder of a bracket 5 is provided. The actuating rod 6 with a child is connected to the main shaft 7, a cam 8 for operating the operating stand with the needle and a cam 9 for swinging the reed are fixed, and a reed support shaft 10 is attached to the axis of the knitting latch needle on the latch needle working table 3. A ground knitting reed support plate 11 and a handle knitting reed support plate 12 are fixed to the support shaft 10 with the needle axis line interposed therebetween, and a reed 13 is installed at an intermediate part between the support plate 11 and the support plate 12. Guide rails 14, 14
are attached to the support plates 11, 12, and a carrier 15 reciprocates on the rails 14, 14.
To transmit the power of the carrier 15, a cable 17 is wound around a drum 16 fixed to the left end of the reed support shaft 10 so as not to slip, and the cable 17 is guided and supported by guide rollers 18 and 19.

The drum 16 transmits rocking motion to the sector gear 22 through a crank disk 20 rotated by the main shaft 7 and a connecting rod 21, transmits this to the pinion 23 as a repetitive rotational motion, and then passes through the chain wheel 24 and bevel gear 25 to the cable 17. This is converted into a reciprocating motion of the carrier 15. A weft yarn feeding roller 26 is attached to the lower end of the carrier 15. When the crank disk 20 rotates once, the carrier 15 moves from one end of the actuating table 3 with the bellows needle to the other end and returns to its original position. A swinging arm 27 having one end pivoted on the reed support shaft 10
At the other end, the upper end of a push-up rod 29 with a roller 28 attached to the lower end is installed as a shaft, and a cam 9 for swinging the reed is installed.
By operating the reed 13 and the carrier 15, the reed 13 and the carrier 15 are given back and forth rocking motion. The weft selection device (see Fig. 4) is installed at the left end of the ratchet machine body 1, and a selection piece 32 is selected from the main shaft 7 by a chain wheel 30 and a Geneva gear 31 at a rate of one piece per two knitting strokes. The frame carriage 33 is rotated, and the selection of the weft yarn feeding is carried out at frame 3.
2, the weft yarn feeding guide 34 rises and is hooked onto the weft yarn feeding roller 26 of the carrier 15. (The selection of the type of weft yarn 35 depends on the number of rows of the weft yarn supply selection pieces 32). Holding bars 36 and 36' that hold the weft 35 pulled out by the weft feeding roller 26 are supported on the upper surface of the needle hook 2 at both ends of the effective knitting width, and the holding bars 36 and 36' are supported by the upper surface of the needle hook 2 at both ends of the effective knitting width. , 36' move up and down and back and forth to hold and feed the weft yarn 35, and constitute a weft insertion device in the warp knitting latsiel machine according to the present invention. Note that 38 and 38' indicate warp threads.

(Function) Next, the function of the present invention will be explained step by step by the knitting operation of each part as the main shaft 7 is driven in the knitting work process and the cams and chain wheels for each operation are displaced. (See Figure 5) When the latch needle 39 has finished stitch escape and is at the lower end of the needle hook 2, the reed 13 has completed its lateral movement at the forward position. The weft yarn feeding roller 26 and the carrier 15 pass through the left side and pass through the weft yarn feeding guide 3.
4, pull out the weft thread 35 and proceed. The left weft holding rod 36 moves forward and rises to hold the weft 35 so that it does not hang on the bellows needle 39.

() Backward movement of the reed and insertion of the weft (see Figure 6) The latch needle 39 begins to rise and stops at the top. The reed 13 starts to move backward, and when the reed in the front row of the pattern knitting reed 13 advances to the axis of the bellows needle, the weft holding rods 36, 36' at both ends move backward and descend to complete the insertion of the lower weft 35. Yoko 13 continues to retreat.

() Above () [Backward movement of reed and insertion of weft]
Insertion of the upper weft at the stage (see Fig. 9) When the latch needle 39 and reed 13 are in the state described above (Fig. 6), the right weft holding rod 36 completes its backward and downward movement, and the carrier 15 inserts the left end weft. Immediately after passing through the yarn feeding guide 34, it descends to complete insertion of the upper weft yarn. The selection of the weft yarn 35 and the selection of whether to feed the weft yarn 35 or not to feed the weft yarn 35 are performed within the period of time just before the carrier 15 turns back at the left end and passes through the weft yarn feeding guide 34 . By repeating the above knitting operations from () to (), the desired knitted fabric of this machine can be obtained.

(Effect) In conventional warp knitting machines, weft threads are inserted from the back of the machine between the knitting needles and the ground pattern yarn feeding row group. With smooth yarns, the warp threads tend to slip or shift in the weft (width) direction during the finishing process of the knitted fabric or during the processing at the product production stage. Also, in pattern construction, there is a tendency for the warp threads to slip or shift in the weft (width) direction. There was a drawback that pattern yarns were accumulated and the pattern effect of the weft yarns was significantly inhibited, but the present invention has the disadvantage that the pattern effect of the weft yarns is significantly inhibited, but the present invention has the advantage that by inserting the weft yarns between the ground knitting part and the pattern knitting part, the weft (width) direction of the knitted fabric is improved. This method has excellent practical effects such as improving the stability of the fabric, making it possible to obtain a pattern (pattern) structure that takes advantage of the characteristics of the yarn used, and making it possible to produce knitted fabrics of consistently stable quality.
