Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a rib from floating and prevent sound from leaking intensively out of a specific location by embedding a soft sound absorbing material in an inner space surrounded with ribs around a component passing through an insulator. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of ribs 2a are arranged in the shape of a lattice on the reverse side of an insulator 2. The insulator 2 is disposed along a body panel 1 with the fore-ends of the ribs 2a in contact with the body panel 1 to form a plurality of sound insulating closed spaces divided with the ribs 2a between the body panel and a skin material. In this case, a soft, sound-absorbing material 4 is embedded in a space surrounded with the ribs 2a around a component 3 passing through the insulator 2. As a result, the closed space is maintained even if the ribs 2a are floating from the body panel 1 due to lower accuracy of attachment of the ribs 2a relative to the body panel, and intensive noise leak due to the floating of the ribs 2a is avoided. As a result, uniform sound insulation effect is obtained.

(Prior art) Vehicle insulators are installed on the inside surface of the dash panel that separates the engine room and the passenger compartment, or on the top surface of the floor panel, and are used to block noise in the engine room, video footage, or road noise. This is a vehicle part, and generally a skin material made of a sound-insulating material with viscoelasticity such as asphalt, filler-containing PVC, or EP rubber is laminated on the surface side of a sound-absorbing material made of felt, urethane foam, etc., and then heat-pressed. A structure is adopted in which the curved surface and external shape match the shape of the installation site on the vehicle body panel such as the dash panel or floor panel.

However, with this double-layered insulator, the soundproofing effect can only be achieved according to the thickness and weight of the material, and the soundproofing properties are particularly poor in the low frequency range. I have no choice but to use

Therefore, the present applicant first integrally provided a large number of ribs protruding in a grid pattern on the back surface of an insulator made of a sound insulating material, and attached the insulator to the vehicle body panel with the tips of the ribs in contact with the vehicle body panel. As a result, a vehicle insulator has been developed in which a large number of soundproof closed spaces partitioned by the ribs are provided between the vehicle body panel and the insulator.

In other words, this insulator is designed to structurally ensure soundproofing performance by forming a closed space, so unless the ribs are in complete contact with the vehicle body panel, it will not become a closed space. In particular, if the opening periphery of the penetration part of the penetrating part or the ribs on the outer periphery of the insulator are lifted from the vehicle body panel, sound leakage occurs intensively from these parts.

Therefore, in order to prevent this sound leakage, when molding the insulator, it is necessary to have molding precision that perfectly fits the curved shape of the car body panel, and also to ensure that the insulator fits perfectly to the car body panel to avoid misalignment or other defects. Since the parts had to be attached at the same time, the work efficiency of the installation was reduced.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a surface of an insulator made of a sound insulating material with a large number of ribs protruding integrally in a grid pattern, and the tips of the ribs are attached to the vehicle body panel. A vehicle insulator is provided with a number of soundproof closed spaces partitioned by the ribs between the vehicle body panel and the skin material by attaching the insulator to the vehicle body panel in a state where the insulator is in contact with the vehicle body panel. A flexible sound-absorbing material is embedded inside the peripheral edge of the part that penetrates the rib, surrounded by the rib.

(Function) According to the above configuration, the sound-absorbing material is present around the periphery of the penetrating part, and this sound-absorbing material is filled so as to surround the penetrating part, so even if the ribs are slightly raised, a closed space can be maintained. There is no breakage, and the sealing performance for the opening is improved.

This insulator dash 2 is a dash panel with a flat surface formed by press-molding a sound insulating material such as ASF7, filler-containing PVC sheet, or EP rubber, and a large number of ribs 2a protruding from the back side in a vertical and horizontal lattice pattern. The insulator dash 2 is formed in a shape that follows the curved surface shape and outer shape of the dash panel 1, and the spacing between each rib 2a is such that even if a load is applied with the insulator dash 2 attached to the dash panel, the insulator dash 2 will sink into the dash panel 1 side. They are formed at intervals that have a certain degree of support strength.

Although the above embodiment shows the case where the sound absorbing material 4 is also arranged at the peripheral edge of the insulator dash 2, it is not necessary to set any sound absorbing material in this part. It is preferable that the sealing tongue piece is configured to be in close contact with the panel surface due to its flexibility.

In other words, in this invention, the sound-absorbing material is present around the periphery of the one-piece part, and this sound-absorbing material is filled so as to surround the penetrating part, so even if the rib is slightly raised, the closed space will not be interrupted. This eliminates the concentration of sound leakage due to raised ribs due to reduced precision when mounting to the vehicle body panel, resulting in an even soundproofing effect and improved sealing ability for openings.

Therefore, according to the present invention, while enjoying the advantages of the insulator having a closed space structure with ribs, such as high soundproofing performance per material and no deterioration of soundproofing performance even when used in open conditions, it also has the disadvantages. The required mounting can prevent a decrease in work efficiency by mounting according to the accuracy.
