A common example of this core is one in which I-shaped steel plates and E-shaped steel plates are stacked alternately on the left and right, forming a diagonal shape. It seems like you can plug it in and get an integrated transformer.

In addition, in the iron core of such a transformer, the cross-sectional area occupied by the core becomes large due to the formation of air spaces between the laminated steel plates, and the magnetomotive force (ampere cycles) is consumed at a large level within the air space. , there were cases where undulating vibrations were generated. In addition, in order to compensate for the consumption of the magnetomotive force mentioned above, it is necessary to make the iron core larger and increase the number of coil turns, which increases the overall shape and weight of the transformer, which makes it difficult to install it on the chassis. There were some difficult times.

成が容易かつ迅速になるという利点がある。 On the other hand, as a transformer that solves these drawbacks, a wound core type transformer is provided which mainly has an iron core spirally wound with magnetic steel sheets. In this wound core type transformer, the magnetic flux passes only in the rolling direction of the electromagnetic steel sheet, and there is no need to compensate for the magnetomotive force consumed by the gaps in the joints as in the conventional method. This has the advantage that the excitation current and iron losses are significantly reduced and the core formation is easier and faster.

路設計上、諸々の対策を講じる必要があつた。 By the way, in this wound core type transformer, not only is it troublesome to wind the winding around the wound core, but the magnetic flux tends to flow only in the rolling direction, and when alternating current is applied to the primary winding, it suddenly rushes in. Current was induced in the secondary winding, and it was necessary to take various measures in circuit design to prevent heating and disconnection of the secondary winding and to protect the load circuit.

A wound core type transformer has already been proposed in which the rod-shaped core is interposed and held in place.

のである。 This idea was made by focusing on such conventional problems, and by assembling two C-shaped cores and an I-shaped core into which the wound core was divided, it is possible to solve the original problem without increasing the excitation current and iron loss. The present invention provides a small and flat wound core type transformer that obtains the characteristics of a wound core and prevents the induction of rush current into a secondary winding.

a, 2b, and an I-shaped core 4 with a laminated structure in which a winding 3 is wound through a bobbin. This I-shaped core 4 is sandwiched between two C-shaped cores, and its surface is polished smoothly. The two sandwiched surfaces are electrically and mechanically in close contact with each other. Note that this close holding is firmly performed by a retaining steel band 5 wound spirally around each of the cores 2 and 4. Reference numeral 6 denotes a U-shaped frame fitted to the longitudinal end of the I-shaped core 4 and the inner ends of the C-shaped cores 2a, 2b, and is used to tighten the I-shaped core 4 and mechanically integrate the core 4 and the cores 2a, 2b. In recent years, efforts have been made to strengthen the magnetic coupling as well as the degree of magnetic coupling.

This is a copper strip for magnetic shielding that covers part of the upper and lower surfaces of a and 2b. For practical purposes, it is sufficient to wrap the copper strip 7 once without overlapping it. Reference numeral 8 designates a mounting bracket as shown in FIG. 4, which is made by stamping an iron plate by press forming. This mounting bracket 8 is provided with a clamping piece 8a extending over the entire length at the upper part, a mounting piece 8b extending over the entire length at the lower part, and further comprises a clamping piece 8c cut and raised at the center. The gap between these two sandwich pieces 8a, 8c is approximately equal to the thickness of the C-shaped core. Note that a mounting hole 9 is bored in the mounting piece 8b.

It's becoming like this. In the figure, reference numeral 13 indicates a tightening band for the mounting bracket 8. Further, 10 is a lead holding plate provided on the top surface of each core 4, 2a, 2b adjacent to the end of the winding 3, and is made of an insulating plate such as synthetic resin. It is designed to hold the secondary side lead 12 of. Although not shown, substantially all of the assembled iron core 1 and winding 3 are covered with a magnetic shielding plate, and an insulating varnish is applied.

電気機器に対する用途がより広がることとなる。 In a transformer having such a configuration, the wound core is divided into two C-shaped cores 2a and 2b, and an I-shaped core with a winding 3 wound therebetween is interposed. The overall structure can be made flat. Moreover, since the C-shaped core essentially constitutes the wound core and magnetically contributes significantly to reducing the excitation current and iron loss, the number of turns of the winding wire can be reduced, and the amount of winding can be reduced. This allows the transformer to be made smaller and lighter. Therefore, the space occupied by the transformer can be suppressed,
This will further expand the range of applications for electrical equipment.

By wrapping a tightening band around the outer surface of the U-shaped frame and mounting bracket, it is possible to construct a thin and lightweight wound core transformer. The same electrical and magnetic effects as the wound core type can be obtained. In addition, since the configuration combines a C-shaped core and an I-shaped core, inrush current is not induced into the secondary winding when alternating current is applied to the primary winding. Also, effects such as being able to effectively prevent adverse effects on the load can be obtained.
