However, when cutting a processing plate, the laser beam is passed completely around the contour line so that the cut workpiece does not fall off the processing plate. When the cut workpiece falls from the processing plate, it is sufficient that it falls completely, but if the cut workpiece gets caught on the processing plate and a part of it is exposed on the processing plate, the laser processing head interferes with the workpiece and the processing head This is because there is a risk of injury. For this reason, there is a method in which the cut workpiece is processed while leaving a slight connection on the processing plate. This slight connection is called a micro joint mj, and in this micro joint creation mode (S-62), the width of the micro joint mj is first set (S-63). Once the width has been set, use the mouse (4h) etc. to select C, as shown in Figure 7(b).
RT (4'e) Micro joint l in the machined figure
The line to which l1j is to be added is specified (S-64). Next, as shown in Fig. 7(C), specify the position of the micro joint mj on the specified line using the mouse (4h), etc., and place the micro joint with the width set in step (S-63) at this position. mj is created (S-65). After the micro joint mj is added to the processed figure, Fig. 7(e)
A piercing line PL is added to the outline as shown in the figure to complete the figure required for cutting (S-66). Based on this machining pattern, numerical control data for actually moving the laser machining head over the machining plate is created (S-67).

A laser beam is turned on from the starting point (BON+) of L, and the beam is irradiated onto the contour line from the piercing line PL to cut the processed plate into the shape of the processed drawing. Then, when the beam irradiation position reaches the point (BOFF+) where the micro joint mj is specified on the contour line, the beam is turned off,
The processing head is moved to point CBON2) which is separated by the micro joint width from point (BOPP+). And again,
Beam on from point (BON2) and piercing line P
The beam is moved and irradiated to the intersection of L and the contour line (Borr2) and the beam is turned off. As described above, by providing a micro-joint on the contour line of the workpiece that is not irradiated with a laser beam over a certain width, the workpiece will not get caught and fall off the workpiece even if the workpiece is cut into a certain shape.

動作が必要となり切断加工に時間がかかることになる。As described above, with conventional CAD/(:AM equipment, when creating a micro joint, the creation line of the micro joint is determined and the creation position is determined after that, so the micro joint is created from the beam off position. Creating a micro joint requires complicated position calculations, so when you try to create a micro joint for multiple workpieces, you have to specify the machining shape and repeat the position calculation for setting the micro joint. It takes time to set the micro joint, and if the micro joint is set regardless of the beam off position, the beam will be turned on and off across the micro joint during cutting, so the entire beam will be turned on and off during cutting. As a result, multiple beam on/off operations are required, resulting in a time-consuming cutting process.

である。[Means for Solving the Problems] The CAD/CAM device according to the present invention specifies the micro joint width when creating NC data for cutting figures, thereby changing the beam off position specified in the beam irradiation path to the micro joint width. This is to move back by the width of the joint, thereby creating NC data to which a micro joint is added.

There is no need to decide the line and position for setting the micro joint in the figure.

A piercing line (P
L l ) and (PL2) have already been drawn. By setting the piercing lines (pLt) and (PL2) in this way, the beam goes around the contour line and turns off when it reaches the intersection of the piercing line and the contour line. That is, the intersection of the piercing line and the contour line is determined as the beam-off position. Next, based on the cutting pattern, NC data is created in which the processing head moves along the contour on the processing plate while irradiating the laser beam (S-12). Conditions are set as to whether or not to create micro joints when creating NC data (S-13). At this time, if the micro joint 1Ilj is not set, NC data will be created according to the machining pattern shown in FIG. 2(a). If the processed plate is cut according to this NC data, the beam will be irradiated in 6 motions along the contour line from the piercing line PL, and the beam irradiation will be stopped when the beam reaches the intersection of the piercing line PL and the contour line, which is the beam off position. By doing so, a workpiece of a constant shape is cut from the workpiece plate. If it is determined in step (S-13) that there is a micro-joint mj, the micro-joint width is input as data for creating NC data (S-14). As a result, the beam-off position set at the intersection of the piercing line PL and the contour line is moved back by the micro-joint width, and as shown in Figure 2 (b) and (C), the beam-off position is set at the intersection of the piercing line PL and the contour line. NC data is created from the machining figure that has been added. Figure 2(b)
is a shape in which the micro-joint width is manually input into the square hole in the machined part, and (c) in the same figure is a shape in which the micro-joint width is input into both the machined part itself and the square hole.

。The operation of cutting a processed plate using the NC data added with micro joints as described above will be explained with reference to FIG. First, a beam is irradiated along the piercing line PC from the starting point (BON) of the piercing line PC,
Start cutting the processed plate. After cutting the piercing line PL, the beam is irradiated along the contour line that indicates the shape of the processed part, and the beam irradiation is stopped when the beam irradiation position reaches the beam off point (BOFF) determined by the micro joint mj. Turn off and stop cutting. As a result, even when cutting a processed plate to which micro-joints mj have been added into a fixed shape, it is only necessary to turn the beam on and turn the beam off once, thereby reducing the cutting time.

NC data can be created.
