[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a heat exchanger such as an instantaneous water heater that heats water passing through an endothermic tube through an endothermic fin.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, this type of heat exchanger, as shown in FIG.
The structure includes a plurality of heat absorbing pipes 5 to which heat absorbing fins 3 are fixed and communicating with water pipes 4. FIG. 2 shows a partially enlarged sectional view of a conventional example, in which the side end portions of the heat absorbing fins 3 are fixed to the side plate 2a of the heating cylinder 2 by brazing. The reason why such fixation is performed in the conventional example is to alleviate the temperature rise of the side plate 2a of the heating cylinder 2, and heat is absorbed through the path of the side plate 2a→the heat absorbing fin 3→the heat absorbing tube 5.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in such a conventional example, a large temperature gradient occurs between the fixed part A of the heat absorbing fin 3 and the non-fixed part B of the side plate 2a, and the heat absorbing fin 3 expands due to long-term use. A problem occurred in that the boundary C between the two parts was destroyed by the force.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has a plurality of heat absorption tubes to which a large number of heat absorption fins are fixed, and the heat absorption tubes are supported by a heating cylinder. Between the end of the heat absorption fin side and the side plate of the heating cylinder, a shielding plate whose lower part extends below the heat absorption fin along the side plate of the heating cylinder and shields the side plate below the heat absorption fin from the inside is connected to the side plate of the heat absorption fin and the heating cylinder. It is sandwiched in a non-adhesive state.

6 is a heat shield plate, and the heat shield plate 6 is attached between the end of the heat absorbing fin 3 and the side plate 2a, and the heat shield plate 6 is not fixed to the heat absorbing fin 3 or the side plate 2a; The tube 5 is supported by a side plate 2a on a plane perpendicular to the axis. The lower part of the heat shield plate 6 extends below the heat absorbing fin 3 along the side plate of the heating cylinder, and the extended portion 6a shields the side plate 2a below the heat absorbing fin 3 from the inside. The upper end of the heat shield plate 6 is bent inward, and the bent portion 6b is locked onto the notch 7 at the upper end of the heat absorbing fin 3. Reference numeral 8 denotes a rectifier plate attached to the upper end of the side plate 2a to guide combustion gas to the center.

In the above configuration, when the heat exchanger is heated, the heat absorption fins 3 thermally expand, but this expansion force of the heat absorption fins 3 is received by the heat shield plate 6, and the force is dispersed by the heat shield plate 6. Therefore, the force is not concentrated on the side plate 2a. In addition, the heat shield plate 6 extends below the heat absorbing fins 3 and shields the side plate 2a from the inside, so there is no direct heat supply from the burner to the side plate 2a below the heat absorbing fin 3, and the side plate 2a is shielded. The temperature gradient between the portion in contact with the heat plate 6 and the portion below the heat absorbing fin 3 is also reduced.

(Effects of the invention) As explained above, according to the invention, it is possible to reduce both the large temperature gradient and stress concentration on the side plates, which are the causes of side plate failure, and thus improve the durability of the heat exchanger. It can make a big contribution.
