The outer circumferential wall of the fitting portion 43 and the outer circumferential wall of the rotator 3 are partially cut out, and the cutout portions 47 and 31 are used as fitting portions of the fitting portion 43.
The fitting part 43 and the locking body 4 integrated therewith can rotate together with the rotating element 3, and are mutually connected in the upper and lower axial directions. It is designed to be able to slide independently (see Figure 3). The fitting structure between the fitting part 43 and the rotor 3 can be implemented in various structures other than the above-mentioned embodiments. For example, the fitting part 43 can be slidably inserted into the cylindrical rotor 3. If a spline, an axial fitting groove, etc. are formed on the sliding surfaces of both parts while fitting together, integral rotation and axial sliding becomes possible (not shown).

Further, a Phillips screw groove is formed at the tip of the head of the adjustment screw 5 as an adjustment operation part 51 for use with a screwdriver, etc., and this operation part 51 is externally inserted through an operation hole 48 formed in the center of the upper surface of the central cylinder part 40 of the hanging body 4. It is installed so that it is exposed towards the front. In addition to the illustration, the operating section 51 may have a slotted groove or other known screw groove shape, and if the operating section 51, which has a hexagonal outer periphery, protrudes to the upper part of the operating hole 48, it can be adjusted using a hexagon spanner or the like. is also possible.

Reference numeral 6 denotes a holding member formed by bending a thin plate into a U-shape, and is inserted into the mounting portion 20 so that both ends of the holding member 6 can be engaged with the upper surface of the zigzag-shaped uneven portion 22. A long hole 60 for inserting the screw B is formed in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, both ends of the presser member 6 are engaged with each other at arbitrary positions left and right along the zigzag-shaped uneven portion 22, and the elongated hole 6
By adjusting the insertion position of the screw B in front and back in the 0, the installation position of the screw B with respect to the pedestal 1 can be freely changed from front to back and left and right. This is very convenient when attaching the pedestal 1, such as a repair crescent, to the hole.

Note that 61 is a cushion material made of elastic synthetic resin, etc., which is press-fitted to the back side of the presser member 6.
It is formed to protrude downward from the presser member 6. Then, when the screw B is inserted into the elongated hole 60 of the holding member 6 and screwed onto the mounting surface S of the sash etc. and tightened, the cushion material 61 is bent inward of the holding member 6. Both ends are completely engaged into the zigzag-shaped uneven portion 22 (see FIG. 6).
However, when the screws B are unscrewed, the cushion plate 61 elastically restores itself, and the lower end of the cushion plate 61 tends to protrude downward from the presser member 6, so the presser member 6 is lifted upwards, causing a zigzag pattern. Both ends of the presser member 6 are raised above the uneven portion 22 (see FIG. 7).
In this state, the presser member 6 is attached to the zigzag-shaped uneven portion 22.
Since it can freely move left and right without getting caught, it becomes very easy to adjust the mounting position, and it saves the trouble of completely removing the holding member 6 each time and inserting it into the appropriate position of the mounting hole 20 during adjustment. At the same time, when fixing with screw B, the cushion plate 6
Since the restoring force of 1 is always working, it also has a locking effect similar to that of a so-called spring washer. Note that the detailed structure of the holding member 6 and the like may be freely changed in various ways other than those described above.

Further, reference numeral 7 denotes a cover that covers and closes the upper opening of the mounting hole 20 and is made of a resilient synthetic resin molded body. It is designed to be fitted and installed. By installing the cover 7 above, the mounting hole 20
In addition to improving the appearance of the part, it also has a security effect because the mounting screws B etc. are not visible from the outside.

The shape of the cover 7 can be changed freely. For example, the L-shaped cover 7 can be inserted into the mounting hole 20 from the side of the pedestal 1.
A type that can be attached by sliding upward can also be used, and it is even more suitable for crime prevention if fixing screws b are screwed to the cover 7 from the side of the cover 7 to the pedestal 1 (see Fig. 8).

The height adjustment mechanism of this invention can be applied in the same manner to any latch for rotational operation other than the above-mentioned crescent; for example, FIGS. 9 and 10 show an example of application to a window cam latch. The height adjustment mechanism itself has almost the same structure as the embodiment described above, except for the shapes of the gripping part 41 and the hanging part 42 formed on the hanging body 4. However, the rotating cam portion 30 and the spring plate 11 at the lower end of the rotating element 3 are omitted. Further, the same-shaped latching portions 42 are symmetrically provided on the left and right sides of the central cylinder portion 40 so that the latching portions 42 can be used both for left-handed rotation operation and right-handed rotation operation of the latching body 4. (Figures 9 and 10)

To explain the operation of the height adjustment mechanism configured as above, first, the pedestal 1 is fixed to a sash etc. using the mounting part 2, and then the height of the hook part 42 is adjusted up or down according to the height of the receiver. To adjust the
When the is rotated with the operation part 51, the adjustment screw 5 moves up and down in the screw hole 32 of the rotator 3, and the fitting part 43, which is integrated with the adjustment screw 5 in the axial direction, rotates accordingly. While sliding along the mover 3, the entire hook 4 also moves up and down. At this time, the polygonal head 50 of the adjustment screw 5 rotates while elastically pushing away the presser springs 47, 47 on both sides, while the
is a spring plate 11 that clamps the rotating cam portion 30 at the lower end;
11 is prevented from rotating, and frictional force with the cylindrical body part 10, fitting part 43, etc. also acts, so only the adjusting screw 5 rotates without rotating the rotator 3, the latch 4, etc. This means that you can move it up and down. Further, even when the rotating cam portion 30 and the spring plate 11 are not provided, the rotating element 3 and the latch 4 are prevented from rotating due to the above-mentioned frictional force, and only the adjustment screw 5 rotates.
If the grip part 41 is held down, the operation can be made more securely, which is a preferable mode of use.

After the vertical height adjustment of the latching member 4 is completed, when performing a latching operation for a crescent or the like, a rotation operation using the grip portion 41 can be performed in exactly the same manner as in the conventional art. That is, as the hooking body 4 rotates, the fitting part 43 attached integrally thereto rotates, and the rotor 3 fitted to the fitting part 43 so as to be able to rotate integrally also becomes integral with the fitting part 43. Rotate. At this time, the rotor 3 is designed to be able to rotate against the elasticity of the spring plates 11, 11 which clamp the rotary cam portion 30 at the lower end. Note that the above spring plate 11,1
1 is for preventing the hanging body 4 from rotating naturally due to vibration etc. by positioning the hanging body 4 in the engaged position with the receiving metal fitting or in the operated state in the released position when not in operation; By clamping and pressing the rotary cam portion 30 with the spring plates 11, 11, movement of the rotor 3, the fitting portion 43 fitted therewith, and the locking body 4 can be prevented from moving.

During the rotation operation, the adjustment screw 5 is clamped by the presser springs 47, 47 attached to the latching body 4, and is also threaded with the rotator 3, so that it is integrated with the entire latching body 4. The adjustment screw 5 and the rotator 3 are rotated relative to each other by the above-mentioned rotation operation, and the height position of the hook 4 does not change.

Then, when rotating the hanging body 4 after the above adjustment,
Since the adjustment screw 5 can be rotated together with the rotor 3 and the entire hooking body 4 that are screwed together, the adjustment position does not always fluctuate and a reliable locking action can be achieved. . In particular, the polygonal head 50 of the adjustment screw 5 is held down by the springs 47 and 4 on both sides.
Since the adjustment position is clamped at 7, the adjustment position will not change at all even with vibrations and shocks during use or repeated operations, and it can be used in good condition at all times without any problems even during long-term use. It is.
