[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Field of Application] The present invention provides engaging pieces opposite to each other on the outer edges of the divided parts of a half-split cylindrical synthetic resin cover body. This invention relates to a chuck-type sleeve cover in which the split portion is expanded to cover a live part provided on an overhead electric wire.

[Prior art and its problems] With this type of chuck-type sleeve cover that has been known in the past, it is difficult to maintain watertightness of the holding cylinder that holds the insulated wire at both ends of the live part. Insulating tape can be wrapped around both ends of the cover and the insulated wire to maintain the cover in place and to prevent the cover from sliding due to factors such as being fanned by the wind during use. I am processing the terminal to fix it. However, the insulating tape deteriorates economically and peels off, causing the cover to slide and exposing the live parts, making it impossible for the cover to perform its insulating function.

For this reason, in order to protect the connection parts and terminals of electric wires, an insulating cover is used instead of wrapping and fixing insulating tape, for example, in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 46-24978, ``Cable branch cover''.
Alternatively, there is Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-27735 entitled ``Insulating cover for electric wire connection section''. Here, the insulating cover for this is made of two insulating members (trough-like members) made of flexible synthetic resin, etc. formed into a split bamboo shape, and both insulating members (trough-like members) are joined at the end face in the splitting direction at the hinge part ( When the hinge portion (rib) is bent, the insulating member wraps around the conductor in a tying relationship. Both end faces (joining edges) of both insulating members are connected in the longitudinal direction. An engaging piece (button) and an engaging hole (button hole) into which the engaging piece engages are bored in the housing. It is necessary to insert the engagement piece (button) into the small engagement hole and insert the engagement piece (button) into the small engagement hole. In addition, since such engagement involves simply inserting a button or the like into the engagement hole, the connection is weak, and the locking piece does not always fit tightly into the engagement hole without leaving a gap. If shock or pressure is applied due to exposure to animals, animals, etc., the engagement will loosen during use, creating a gap.As a result, rainwater, etc. can enter the cover from the side engagement part of the insulating cover in a relatively short period of time. However, there is a defect in that the internal electric wires etc. corrode.

Therefore, the present invention is easy to install and has a strong structure, which prevents the live part from sliding inside the housing part of the cover body, and also allows the inside of the cover to be tightly closed and sealed, preventing the intrusion of rainwater etc. The purpose is to provide a chuck-type sleeve cover that can be

In addition to providing a storage section for accommodating the charging section, holding cylinders for insulated wires are provided in series on both the left and right sides of the charging section, and protrusions are provided on the inner wall of the cover body at the left and right end positions of the storage section, respectively, to accommodate the charging section. In addition to forming a stopper, a plurality of protrusions are provided in a circumferential manner at the outer and inner positions of each holding cylinder, and the inner and outer parts of the holding cylinder are provided at different positions in the circumferential direction. A grip part is formed to hold the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire.

[Function] The cover body disengages the opposing protrusions and expands both engaging pieces in the front and back direction using their elasticity, opening the split points and connecting the charging cables installed on the overhead wires through the gaps. The charging part can be housed in the housing part by covering the charging part from above. Thereafter, when the two engaging pieces are put together again and pressed into engagement with each other, the concave and convex portions of the tips of both protrusions are tightly and firmly engaged in the longitudinal direction, so that the interior of the housing can be easily sealed. This prevents rainwater from entering the inside of the cover.

Further, the insulated wires are held by holding tubes on the left and right sides of the charging portion, and are firmly held by a plurality of protrusions at positions near both the inner and outer sides of each holding tube. Therefore, the sleeve cover does not slide or rotate during use.

Further, on the inner wall of the cover main body 1, three protrusions 8 are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction at both left and right end positions of the accommodating part 5 to form stoppers for the charging part E, and each holding cylinder 7 A plurality of protrusions 9 and 10 are provided at equal intervals in the circumferential direction at outer and inner positions of the insulated wires A, 7, respectively, to form gripping portions that contact the circumferential surfaces of the insulated wires A, A. In this embodiment, the protrusion 9 provided at the outer side of each holding cylinder 7 has a hemispherical shape.
Further, the protrusions 10 provided at positions closer to the inner side are formed in the shape of a ridge that always has a constant height with respect to the inner wall, and are formed so that the cuts are on the opposing line of each of the protrusions 9. In addition, in the protrusion 10 that is provided across the dividing point 2, a cut is provided in line with the dividing point 2 so as not to hinder the opening/closing operation.

Next, to explain the use of the sleeve cover of the present invention formed in this way, the cover body 1
Disengage the protrusions 4a, 4b and remove the engagement pieces 3a, 3.
b are expanded in the front-rear direction using their elasticity to open the dividing point 2, and the live part E provided on the installed electric wire is placed over the gap so that the live part E is housed in the housing part 5. If the engaging pieces 3a and 3b are aligned and the protrusions 4a and 4b are pressed into engagement with each other,
As shown in FIG. 7, the live part E is accommodated by the protrusions 8, 8 provided on both the left and right ends of the housing part 5 as stoppers to prevent sliding, and the insulated wires A, A are connected to the left and right ends of the live part E, respectively. It is held by the holding cylinders 7, 7, and furthermore, a plurality of protrusions 9 are provided at positions close to both the inner and outer sides of each holding cylinder 7.
The sleeve cover is firmly held in a pinched state by the sleeve cover and 10, and can prevent the sleeve cover from sliding during use.

Therefore, since each holding cylinder 7 has protrusions 9 and 10 provided at positions closer to the inner and outer sides of the holding cylinder 7 at different positions in the circumferential direction, for example, the holding cylinder 7
Even if a screwdriver or the like is mistakenly inserted between the insulated wire A and the insulated wire A, the insertion will be blocked by the inner protrusion 10 and no electric shock will occur.

Moreover, the one shown in FIG. 9 and subsequent figures is an example of use as a branch type sleeve cover, and in this case, as shown in FIG. The branch line holding part 11 is formed by extending it into a cylindrical shape having the same diameter as the housing part 5 without forming the holding cylinder 7, and horizontal protrusions 12, 12 are provided on the inner wall of the branch line holding part 11. are installed opposite each other, and as shown in FIG.
and the branch line A' are kept separate and used.
