Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a user to know wait time easily by estimating time required until a temperature at which printing is allowed is reached by detection of the temperature of a heat roller and displaying this estimated time. CONSTITUTION:A wait time estimation part 2 is provided with a wait time table tabulated in terms of the temperature T1 of a heat roller and its corresponding wait time 5 respectively. The table 22 is indexed by using a detected time from a sensor 1 which is input to a wait time estimation circuit 21 and a wait time is read. This wait time which is read is transmitted to a display part 3 for display. In this way, a user can always keep himself posted about a wait time until printing is provided and therefore, need not monitor a device constantly.
