Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the attachment and detachment of a keyboard to and from a host control part without dropping the voltage level of a system power supply by attaching a power supply switch onto the keyboard. CONSTITUTION:A switch 5 turns on and off the current supplied from a power supply 2 for a keyboard of a host control part 1 and an interface 6 is used to transmit the switch information to the part 1 to start or stop the power supply 2 based on the ON or OFF state of the switch 5.
