Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve support rigidity of a back door, by a method wherein the side end part of a rear roof frame and the upper rear end part of a rear pillar outer panel are reinforced by means of a hinge reinforcing plate. CONSTITUTION:A side end part 3a of a rear roof rail 3 extended in the direction of width along a rear end part 2a of a roof panel 2 is spot-welded to an upper rear end 5a of a rear panel inner panel 5 out of a rear pillar outer panel 4 and the rear pillar inner 5 with which the rear part of a car body is formed. The mounting part of a back door hinge 1 is reinforced by means of a hinge reinforcing member 8 spanned between the side end part 3a of the rear roof rail 3 and an upper rear end part 4a of the rear pillar outer panel 4.

側部を形成するリヤピラーアウタパネル4A及びリヤビ
ラ−インナパネル5Aのうち、リヤピラーインナパネル
5Aの上部後側端5aにはルーフパネル2Aの後端部2
aに沿って車幅方向に延長するりャルーフレール3Aの
側端部3aがスポット溶接される。そし・て、リヤルー
フレール3Aの側端部3C表面にはバックドアヒンジI
Aの取付の基板となるレインフォース6を予め接合し、
同レインフォース6に伝えられたバックドアXからの力
を車体に確実に伝達するため、リヤルーフレール3Aに
沿って車幅方向に延長するアッパルーフレール7をリヤ
ルーフレール3A及びリヤピラーアウタパネル4Aの上
部後側端部4aに組合わせている(特開昭59−733

非常に高いものとなる。したがフて、図示実施例の構造
では、リヤルーフレール3の側端部3aからリヤピラー
アウタパネル4の上部後側端部4aにまたがる小型かつ
@量のヒンジ部補強板8によりバックドアヒンジ1の取
