【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ 所定の目盛を形成したスケールを収納した断
面が略コの字状のスケール収納体と、該スケール
収納体を保護する筐体カバーと、上記スケール収
納体に沿つて変位自在で上記スケールの目盛を読
取つて変位信号を生成する検出ヘツドとより構成
されるスケール装置において、 上記筐体カバーをも断面が略コの字状で一体に
形成すると共に、上記スケール収納体と上記筐体
カバーとの隙間に弾性部材を配設し上記スケール
収納体を上記筐体カバーに対して付勢して保持す
るようにしたことを特徴とするスケール装置。 ２ 上記弾性部材を断面が山型の板ばねより構成
し、該板ばねを上記スケール収納体と上記筐体カ
バーとの対角線方向の隙間に配設することにより
、上記スケール収納体を上記筐体カバーの互いに
直交する２面方向に付勢して保持するようにした
ことを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項
