Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute a G3 facsimile communication with a digital communication net by providing an ISDN communication control part, transmitting and receiving picture data and a G3 facsimile procedure signal which remains as a digital signal through the B channel of the ISDN. CONSTITUTION:A change-over switch 11 is connected to the B channel input of an ISDN communication control circuit 10. Consequently, an original read by a reader part 1 is compressed by a compressor part 2, when a change-over switch 11 is in an image data side, transmitted in a condition remaining as a digital signal by the B channel, when it is in a procedure signal side, the G3 facsimile procedure signal is transmitted at the B channel in a condition remaining as the digital signal from a procedure signal transmission part 3.
