As mentioned above, a ladle is used to fill and transport molten metal and to refine it, and it consists of a ladle body,
and a lid attached to the upper opening of the main body.
When a lid is attached to the ladle body, deformation of the upper edge of the ladle body due to thermal expansion of the refractory that makes up the ladle body is unavoidable, splash is deposited on the upper edge of the ladle body, and there is a risk of damage during slag removal. A gap is created between the ladle body and the lid due to the adhesion of slag and the fact that a spout for removing slag is notched in the upper edge of the ladle body. If the above gaps exist, it will be difficult to maintain an internal non-oxidizing atmosphere or reducing atmosphere during ladle scouring, the dust collection air volume will have to be increased, and energy efficiency will deteriorate due to increased heat dissipation. This will cause problems.

For example, as shown in FIG. 4, in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-40465, brackets 11 and 12 are attached to the upper part of the ladle body 1 and the lid body 2, a fire-resistant elastic body 9 is attached to the bracket 12, and a fluid conduit is attached. Inject fluid between the bracket 12 and the fireproof elastic body 9 from 14,
A configuration is disclosed in which the refractory elastic body 9 is expanded by the fluid pressure and is pressed against the bracket.
Furthermore, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-40465 discloses a configuration in which a sealing part 10 sealed by sand 9 is provided between the ladle main body 1 and the lid body 2, as shown in FIG.

The conventional example disclosed in Utility Model Application No. 60-40465 has a complicated structure and has the problem that sealing performance deteriorates when fluid pressure leaks occur.
The conventional example according to No. 40465 has a problem in that sand spills out when the ladle body is tilted during slag removal.

Furthermore, in conventional ladles, when attaching and detaching the lid from the ladle body, the lid is raised and lowered by a lifting device, but since the lid is heavy (usually
20t) A large-scale, high-output lifting device is required, which increases the cost of the lifting device. Furthermore, if the dimensions of the ladle body differ, lids of different dimensions will be required accordingly.

A lid 2 is attached to the ladle body 1 through a predetermined gap 4, and a sealing cloth 5 is hung from the periphery of the lid 2.
The lower end of the seal cloth 5 is brought into close contact with the upper surface of the trunnion ring 3 by a weight 7. In this way, the gap 4 between the ladle body 1 and the lid 2 is sealed by the sealing cloth 5. Therefore, in the present invention, the gap between the ladle body and the lid body can be completely sealed with a simple structure, and there is no need to raise and lower the lid body to attach and detach the ladle body from the lid body. Since there is no need for a large-scale, high-output lifting device, the cost is greatly reduced, and the seal cloth is flexible and there is a predetermined gap between the ladle body and the lid, making it easy to install. Dimensions such as the diameter and height of the ladle are absorbed by such sealing cloth and gaps, so that ladle bodies of various sizes can be applied to one lid.

The present invention will be described with reference to an embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. Reference numeral 1 denotes a ladle body, and a trunnion ring 3 with a pair of handles 3A and 3A extended is attached to the circumferential body of the ladle. The ring 3 has a U-shaped cross section, and flanges 3B and 3C are formed on the upper and lower edges. Reference numeral 2 denotes a lid that is attached to the upper end opening 1A of the main body 1 through a minimum gap 4, and from the periphery of the lid 2 there is a sealing cloth 5A divided into four pieces as shown in FIG. , 5B, 5C, and 5D are attached and suspended via the bracket 6, and the sealing cloths 5A,
A weight 7, which is a magnet, is attached to the lower edge of each of 5B, 5C, and 5D, and the weight 7 is magnetically attached to the upper surface of the upper edge flange 3B of the trunnion ring 3 of the main body 1. cloth 5A, 5B, 5C,
5D is in close contact with the upper surface of the upper edge flange 3B.
The back surfaces of the seal cloths 5B and 5D are in contact with the surfaces of both side edges of the seal cloths 5A and 5C. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, wires 9, 9 hanging down from hoists 8, 8 are connected to the weight 7, respectively.

In the above configuration, the gap 4 between the main body 1 and the lid 2 is sealed by sealing cloths 5A, 5B, 5C, and 5D. Changes in the height of the main body 1 are absorbed by the gap 4, and changes in the diameter of the main body 1 are absorbed by the seal cloth 5.
Since it is absorbed by the flexibility of A, 5B, 5C, and 5D, one lid 2 can be applied to main bodies 1 of various sizes. When the main body 1 is attached and detached from the lid 2, the sealing cloths 5A, 5 are lifted by raising the weight 7 via the wires 9, 9 by the hoists 8, 8 as shown by the dotted line in FIG.
B, 5C, and 5D are hoisted up, the main body 1 is moved in the direction of the arrow in FIG. is lowered and magnetically attached to the upper surface of the upper edge flange 3B of the trunnion ring 3 of the main body 1, thereby bringing the lower edges of the sealing cloths 5A, 5B, 5C, and 5D into close contact with the upper surface of the upper edge flange 3B, thereby connecting the main body 1 and the lid. The gap 4 with the body 2 is sealed. The reason why the seal cloth 5 is disassembled is to improve the adaptability of the seal cloth 5 to the main body 1 and to make the winding up smooth. The reason why the two side edges of the seal cloth 5 are overlapped is to improve the sealing performance between the seal cloths 5. This is to make it better. The sealing cloth 5 is made of a knitted fabric or a nonwoven fabric made of fire-resistant fibers such as asbestos fibers and ceramic fibers.

In addition to the embodiments described above, for example, the sealing cloth may not be divided or a bellows-type sealing cloth may be used. Further, the weight of the sealing cloth does not need to be a magnet.
