Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the oscillation of a cassette half generated by rotation by pressing the cassette half set in a tape traveling mechanism with a pressing member. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette half 18 is inserted in a tape traveling mecha nism, a motor 20 rotates, is speed-reduced and turns a turning piece 29 in an arrow B direction through a spindle 26, a segmental cylinder cam 27, circumfer ence surface cam 28. Then, an arm 29b of the turning piece 29 pulls a projecting arm 43b, and a door 43 closes. Then, a pressing plate 48 is energized in the direction that the door 43is opened by a spring 47. Moreover, when the motor 20 rotates, the segmental part of the cam 27 is brought into contact, arms 35 and 39 are pulled by the spring 47 and move to the right. Then, since engag ing parts 53a and 48a are engaged, a pressing member presses the half 18, and an oscillation is prevented. Besides, when the motor 20 reverse-rotates by an ejection command, a converse action with the above-mentioned is performed the above-mentioned engaging is released the door 43 opens, and the half can be taken out.

Now, after opening the door 6 and inserting the cassette half 11 into it, when the door 6 is closed, the cassette half 11 is set in the tape transport mechanism, and at the same time, the cassette half 11 is inserted into the door 6.
1 is pressed by the elastic pressing plate 9 to press it against the vibration isolating plate 7.

In addition, since the cassette half 11 is pressed at the same time as the door is closed, the cassette half 11 is pinched between the vibration isolating plate 7 and the elastic pressing plate 9 before it is set in the correct position. This had the disadvantage that it was set at an angle from the normal position, making it impossible to obtain sufficient vibration-proofing effects.
