Conventionally, joint covers that cover the intended parts of adjacent buildings are fixed to the building, so if the buildings shake in different directions due to earthquakes, strong winds, etc., the joint covers can be damaged or destroyed. It has the disadvantage that it can sometimes be used. For this purpose, there are some known joint covers that can be moved back and forth, left and right, and up and down relative to the building. When the joint cover is tilted, the joint cover is shifted from the joint portion by the amount of the shift, resulting in a problem that the joint cover does not cover the joint portion properly in the event of an earthquake or a strong wind.

This invention prevents the joint cover from shifting from the joint even if the building is tilted in a different direction due to the structure or material of the adjacent building or due to ground subsidence. It is an object of the present invention to provide a joint cover that can always satisfactorily close a joint part even when a joint occurs.

In the figure, reference numerals 1 and 1 denote a pair of left and right mounting members that are fixed in the vertical direction along the outer wall edges of adjacent buildings A and A across a joint S, and are made of extrusion molded aluminum or the like. As shown in the figure, it is formed into a substantially U-shaped cross section. However, the mounting members 1, 1
The surface of the head piece 2 is formed into an arc-shaped portion 2a, and one side of the base piece 3 is formed with a bolt in order to pivotally connect a plurality of sets of link devices 5, which will be described later, at appropriate intervals in the vertical direction so as to be able to swing vertically. This is a mounting portion 3a.
Numeral 4 is a bolt for fixing the mounting members 1, 1 to the end of the wall surface via the bolt mounting portion 3a of the base piece 3.

5 is four links of equal length 5a, 5a, 5b, 5
It is a link device consisting of four parallel links connected by axes 5c, 5c, 5d, and 5d in a square pantograph shape, and both ends of an intermediate link 5e are pivoted between each of the opposing links 5a and 5b. , the link device 5 has a pair of left and right mounting members 1, 1.
It is pivotally mounted with left and right pivots 5c, 5c in between so as to be able to swing vertically. Further, a link device 5 is installed between the upper end heads of the left and right pivots 5c, 5c and the pivot parts of the links 5a, 5a and the pivot parts of the links 5b, 5b, which are pivotally connected to the left and right pivots 5c, 5c. ,1

In this embodiment configured as described above,
Due to ground subsidence, structure, materials, etc., a slope occurs, and one building A moves relative to the other building A, as shown by the drug line in Figure 2, and the distance between the joints S increases. or become smaller,
A link device 5 consisting of four parallel links is pivotally mounted between the mounting members 1, 1 with left and right pivots 5c, 5c, and a holder 9 has a cover plate 9 attached thereto.
a, and the connecting rod 7 is loosely inserted into the connecting rod 7, and a spring 8 is elastically loaded between the back side of the intermediate link 5e and the connecting rod 7, so that the link device 5 expands and contracts. Also, the center of the intermediate link 5e is always at the center of the link device 5. The center of the link device 5 is at a position that bisects the joint S, and the connecting rod 7 loosely fitted in the center of the intermediate link 5e is also at a position that bisects the joint S, so the cover plate 9 is always on the outer wall surface. The joint part S is properly sealed by pressing the outer wall surface without shifting.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, even if a step is created in the joint S due to the movement of the building A in the front-back direction, the link device 5
It is pivoted so that it can swing back and forth by a, and
The cover plate 9 is loosely inserted and supported by the connecting rod 7, and is biased toward the outer wall surface by a spring 8 interposed in the connecting rod 7, so that the cover plate 9 can be tilted easily and moved along the outer wall surface. The joints S are properly sealed by being pressed together.

In the above embodiment, the mounting member 1 is fixed with bolts 4, but it may also be fixed by welding to the reinforcing bars of the building A. Alternatively, the head piece 2 of the mounting member 1 may be provided with an arc-shaped portion 2a. Although the link device 5 is provided so as to be swingable back and forth, the head piece 2 of the mounting member 1 may be flat and the pivot point side of the link device 5 may be an arc-shaped portion.

As explained above, the present invention is a joint cover that covers the joint between adjacent buildings with a cover plate, and there are four parts between the mounting members installed oppositely along the wall edges of the two buildings. A link device consisting of parallel links of joints is provided, and a pair of opposing pivot joints of the link device are connected to the mounting member at least in a direction along the walls of both buildings and in a direction orthogonal to the same direction. An intermediate link is provided between the center portions of at least one set of opposing links of the link device and is pivotally connected to each other. loosely insert the connecting rod supported by the
A spring is loaded between the back side of the intermediate link and the connecting rod so that the cover plate can be pressed against the wall of the building. Even if the two buildings are moved in different directions, especially if there is a change in the spacing between the joints, the cover plate will not shift from the wall surface, so even if the two buildings are moved in different directions due to earthquakes, strong winds, etc. In particular, even when the interval between the joints changes, the cover plate is properly pressed against the wall without coming off the wall, and the joints can always be well closed.
