Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a beautiful decorative board having an emphasized grain pattern, by providing a colored opaque resin layer having small wood pieces dispersed therein to a base board and exposing the side surfaces of the small wood pieces to the surface of said resin layer while flattening said surfaces and further providing a transparent resin layer on said opaque layer. CONSTITUTION:A small wood piece dispersed colored opaque resin layer 4 formed by dispersing a large number of small wood pieces 2 in a colored opaque resin 3 is provided on a base board 1. As the small wood pieces 2, plate-shape, cube-shape or granular ones composed of a broadleaf tree such as an ebony or an oak and a needle-leaf tree such as a hinoki or agathis are used. As the colored opaque resin 3, a thermosetting resin liquid before curing such as a polyurethane resin or an acrylic resin is used. The greater part of the small wood pieces 2 are dispersed in the small wood piece dispersed colored opaque layer 4 on the surface side thereof to be exposed to the surface of the layer 4 and the surface of said resin layer is made flat. The exposure area of the small wood pieces occupying the surface area of the layer is set to about 10-90%. Further, paint composed of colorless or colored transparent unsaturated polyester resin is applied to the layer 4 to form a transparent resin layer 5.

However, since this decorative board is made by kneading and solidifying resin liquid and small pieces of wood, the sides of the small pieces of wood are often not parallel to the surface of the decorative board, and the surface pattern of the small pieces of wood is not efficient. There was a dissatisfaction that the appearance of the small pieces of wood could not be fully expressed because the surface of the decorative board did not show the beautiful appearance.

Furthermore, the small pieces of wood 2 may be subjected to dimensional stabilization treatment if necessary. Dimensional stabilization treatments include acetylation treatment in which small pieces of wood are treated with acetic anhydride, impregnation with polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol, liquid phenolic resin, unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin, urethane resin, acrylic resin, etc. Impregnated with the same type of resin as the curable resin liquid at the end of the
There are ways to solidify it. Alternatively, the dimensional stabilization treatment and the preservative treatment can be performed simultaneously by mixing an organic halogen preservative into the polyethylene glycol or liquid resin.

In addition, the small pieces of wood 2 may be partially or entirely colored in one or more different tones, including black such as black dun, yellow such as brick and buttock, and yellow such as brick and buttock. It is also preferable to make use of the natural color of the wood, such as the white color of beech. Coloring treatment is performed by dissolving a colorant such as a dye or pigment in a solvent such as water or an organic solvent at a concentration of 0.
A method is used in which a large number of small pieces of wood are immersed in a four-color liquid with a concentration of about 1 to 10 percent. It is also possible to heat the coloring liquid to promote penetration of the coloring liquid, thereby producing a deep color. Further, during the dimensional stabilization treatment, a coloring agent can be dissolved in various liquid resins, and the coloring treatment can be performed simultaneously with the dimensional stabilization treatment.

Further, resins forming the colored opaque resin 3 include unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethane resin, diallyl phthalate resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin, phenol resin,
A thermosetting resin in a liquid state before curing, such as acrylic resin, is mainly used, and a filler and a coloring agent are added to this to form the colored opaque resin 3. Calcium carbonate, talc, titanium oxide, silica, glass powder, etc. are used as fillers here. The blending amount of the filler is 100% of the resin liquid.
The weight is approximately 100 to 400 times the weight of the heavy M portion. In addition, the coloring agent includes a yellow color that is the same color as the wood piece 2,
Dyes, pigments, etc. of brown or brownish tones are preferred, but dyes and pigments of other tones may be used.

In a decorative board having such a structure, the side surfaces of the small wood pieces 2 are exposed on the surface of the dispersed colored opaque resin layer 4, and the exposed side surfaces are parallel to the surface of the decorative board. The wood grain pattern of the small wood pieces 2 appears to the maximum on the surface of the decorative board, the effect of adding and mixing the small wood pieces is improved, and the maximum beauty can be obtained with a small amount of mixing.

First, an uncured paste resin composition that will become the colored opaque resin 3 is prepared. After mixing and kneading small pieces of wood with this resin composition, this mixture is formed into a flat plate shape, and heated and pressed using a hot press or the like to form a solidified product. Next, the surface of this solidified product is ground by sanding or the like to expose the small pieces of wood on the surface, thereby forming the colored opaque resin layer 4 containing dispersed wood pieces. Next, a colorless transparent or colored transparent paint such as unsaturated polynisder resin is applied to the surface of this to form a transparent resin layer 5, and this is adhered to the substrate 1 to form a decorative board.

20IMR1 was cut into small pieces with a thickness of 1 to 1.5 m, and after drying, the pieces were immersed in an uncured unsaturated polyester resin solution, impregnated with the resin solution, and left at room temperature to form a semi-cured state. Small pieces of wood were mixed with the above composition, poured into a mold, and leveled with a roller to form a flat plate with a thickness of 1.5all. Next, this was allowed to stand at room temperature for 3 hours, and then heated and pressed in a hot press at a pressure of 1 HPa and a degree of thirst of 100° C. for 5 minutes to form a solidified product. This material was sanded and ground to expose small pieces of wood on the surface. Next, apply an unsaturated polyester resin paint to the surface of this to a thickness of approximately 1.
A coating film with a thickness of 00 μm was formed, and this was bonded to a substrate of lauan plywood with a thickness of 2 alI to obtain a decorative board.
