Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep a display part clean at all times by cleaning the display part by automatically moving a cleaning bar on the display part when a power supply is switched ON. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cleaning bar 3, which is longer than the width of a display part 2, is provided on the front of the display part 2. Both ends of the bar is rotatably held by a U-shaped holding member 4 such that it presses the display part 2 and is held parallely to the lateral direction of the display part 2. A cloth is wound around the cleaning bar 3 and is removable by opening the holding member 4 outwardly at both ends of the member. A power supply detecting part, which is internally provided and connected to a switch 1, detects the switching-ON of a power supply and outputs a signal indicating the fact. A driving part holds the holding member 4 through grooves 5 provided in parallel to the display part 2 on both sides of a body and drives vertically the holding member 4 along the grooves 5 when the power supply detector part 1 produces the signal.
