Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve washing fastness and chemical resistance, by laminating two porous polytetrafluoroethylene sheets through a fluorocarbon type elastomer layer and further laminating reinforcing cloth to one of both sheets. CONSTITUTION:A fluorocarbon type elastomer layer 3 is provided to the single surface of the first porous polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) sheet 2 and the second porous PTFE sheet 1 is laminated to said elastomer layer 3. Further, reinforcing cloth 4 is laminated to the single surface of the porous PTFE sheet 1 by an adhesive layer 5 to form a composite sheet. Each of the porous PTFE sheets pref. has a thickness of about 10-200mum, a void ratio of about 40-95% and a pore size of about 0.1-30mum. As the embodiment of the fluorocarbon elastomer, there is a vinylidne fluoride or fluorodilicone type elastomer. The bonding of the porous sheets 1 and the reinforcing layers 5 is pref. partial bonding from a feeling aspect.
