本発明は紙や合成樹脂等によって作られる使捨て式の簡
易容器に係り、とくに自動販売機によって飲料等を供給
するのに用いて好適な簡易容器に関する。
Ｋ発明の概要】
本発明は、インクに香料を混合分散させるとともに、こ
のインクを用いて容器の外表面に印刷によって表示を行
なうようにしたものであって、インク中に含まれている
香料によって、長期間にわたって安定に芳香を発生させ
°るようにしたものである。
Ｋ従来の技術】
自動販売機によってコーヒーを供給する場合に用いられ
る紙製の簡易容器に、香料を添加してコーヒーの芳香を
発生させることにより、商品価値を高めることが可能に
なる。このような目的のために、従来より紙等から成る
簡易容器に、芳香を発生するようにしていた。そして従
来の芳香を付与する方法としては、容器のＩＪＩ料とな
る紙の抄紙時に香料を添加する方法や、紙容器の加エエ
稈で香料を容器の表面にスプレーあるいはロール等によ
って塗布する方法が用いられていた。
Ｋ発明が解決しようとする問題点】
しかしながら従来の抄紙時にａ３ける香料の添加の方法
によると、抄紙後の紙に対するプラスチック材料のラミ
ネートによる積層工程において、加熱溶融されたプラス
チック材料の熱によって香料が揮散してしまうという問
題がある。また香料を容器の表面にスプレーあるいはロ
ールによって塗布する方法は、表面に香料が存在するた
めに、短期間にほとんどの香料が揮散してしまい、エン
ドユーザの段階では芳香がほとんど感じられず、紙コツ
プに付与された芳香性が十分に機能しなくなる。
また紙の抄紙時に香料を添加する方法によると、ユーザ
の多様な芳香に対する要求あるいは趣向に対応すること
が困難である。またスプレーあるいはロールによって香
料を塗布する方法は、そのための設備を必要とするばか
りでなく、そのための工程が増加する欠点がある。
本発明はこのような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであっ
て、芳香の持続期間をより長期間とするとともに、しか
も特別な設備を必要とせず、多種に及ぶ香りを趣向や要
求に応じて付与でき、極めて簡単な方法で芳香性を付与
するようにした使捨て式簡易容器を１ｊ？供することを
目的とするものである。
Ｋ問題点を解決するための手段】
本発明は、紙や合成樹脂を主材料として成形される使捨
て式の簡易容器において、単色印刷または多色印刷に用
いられる少なくとも１色以上のインクに香料を混合分散
させるようにし、香料が含まれているインクを用いて容
器の外表面に印刷によって表示を行なうことにより、印
刷インクを通して芳香性を容器に付与するようにしたち
のである。
すなわち紙から成る容器の組立て工程の前の工程である
原紙の印刷工程、あるいは成形された合成樹脂製容器の
曲面印刷の工程において、単色印刷または多色印刷に用
いられる少なくとも１色以上のインクに香料を混合分散
させるようにしている。混合量はインク１００重量部に
対して香料を１〜５重量重量部分散させることが好まし
く、印刷される面積によって、あるいは保香に必要な期
間によって、自由に選択される。香料を５重役部以上と
するとインクが薄くなって変色する傾向が生ずる。また
５重量部以上混入するとインクが印刷前に固化する可能
性がある。そしてここで用いられる香料としては、油性
香料と水性香料の双方が使用可能であるが、油性香料の
場合には油性インクに混入する。また水性香料の場合に
は水性インクに混入することが必要である。なお一般に
は、使用される香料は油性香料であることが好ましい。
またこのような香料は、従来より一般に各種の食品に採
用されている香料であるために、食品衛生上問題になる

Ｋ実施例Σ
本実施例は、自動販売機によってコーヒーを供給するた
めにコーヒー飲料用紙容器に関するものであって、図面
に示すようなカップ状の容器１０から構成されている。
この容器１０は上部が開口１１に構成されるとともに、
その縁部がカール部１２に構成されている。またその外
表面であって胴の部分には印刷部分１３が形成されてい
る。この印刷部分１３は、紙製Ｂ易容器１０を成形して
組立てる前に、原紙の段階において印刷によって形成さ
れるようになっている。
本実施例においては、東洋インキ株式会社製グラビア印
刷用インクとして、つぎの各種のインクを用いた。

ＥＸＰ−Ａ （水性）
このようなインクに対して、協和香料化学株式会社製の
つぎのような香料を添加した。

このようなグラビア印刷用インクと香料とを組合わせる
ことによって、芳香を発する印刷部分１３を形成するよ
うにした。なおここで油性のインクと油性の香料とを組
合わせ、水性のインクと水性の香料とを組合わせるよう
にしている。またインク１００重最部に対重工コーヒー
香料１型俗部を混合分散させるようにしている。そして
このようなインクを用いて通常通りの印刷を行なうとと
もに、直後に紙容器１０を組立てた。
このような紙製の簡易容器１０から発生するコーヒー香
料の芳香は、常温にてこの紙容器１０をスタッキングし
て保管した場合に、３週間の′保香期間が得られた。ま
たこの期間に飲料用紙容器で問題にされる紙奥やポリ臭
、あるいはインキ臭が感じられず、コーヒー香料によっ
てマスキングされる効果があることが確認された。
また使用時においては、この容器１０内に注入されたコ
ーヒーの香りをさらに強調する効果があった。また使用
時においても容器本来の臭を解消することが可能になる
。すなわち一般に紙容器の場合には、とくに飲料用の紙
容器においては、注入されたコーヒーを飲む際にエンド
ユーザの間で紙容器から発せられる紙臭や紙容器の内側
に積層されているプラスチック材料からのポリ臭、さら
には外側に印刷されるインクのインキ臭がしばしば問題
になるが、これらの臭をインクに含まれている香料の芳
香によって消すことが可能になり、コーヒー飲料の美味
を増進させるようになる。
なお比較例として実施した紙容器にスプレーによって香
料を塗布する方法によると、同様の保管方法において、
塗布の直後にコーヒーの香料が強い香りを発生するもの
の、３日〜１週間でほとんど香りがなくなってしまった

本実施例は印刷部分１３を構成するインクに香料を混合
分散させるようにした紙製簡易容器１０に関するもので
あるが、芳香の発生がインクに香料を混合分散させるこ
とによって成立するために、紙容器のみならず、プラス
チック容器、ガラス容器等の各種の使捨て式の簡易容器
にこの技術は適用可能である。
