Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a camera tripod universal bead by moving an optical sensor itself into a lens focal plane. CONSTITUTION:The optical sensor 2 is arranged on the focal plane of a condenser lens 1 and fixed on a fitting base 3, and a position adjusting mechanism 4 adjusts the position of the lens 1 in the focal plane of the lens 1. An image within a visual field angle <AOB is formed on the optical sensor 2 placed in the center F of the focal plane of the lens 1. In this case, the direction of a camera main body is OC1. The position adjusting mechanism 4 shifts the position of the sensor 2 slightly from the point F and an image within a visual field angle <DOE is formed on the sensor 2. The camera direction is still OC1. This constitution allows a camera visual field direction to be changed through easy operation, so the need for the conventional camera tripod universal head is eliminated.
