Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate troublesome processing work after manufacturing and make production possible in a simple equipment by inserting a composite matter between a pair of dies, upper and lower, to integrate the composite matter under heat and pressure. CONSTITUTION:A tape-like covering body 15 cut in a predetermined length is put on a table 25, and an insulated wire core cut in a predetermined length is inserted from an insulated wire core inserting hole of the tape-like covering body 15 to form a composite matter. This composite matter is held by chucks 20a, 20b, and the chucks 20a, 20b are moved toward a takeup side, while pressure and heat are applied by means of pressurizing and heating means such as dies 21a, 21b, etc. Troublesome processing work after manufacturing is thus eliminated, and production in simple equipment is enabled, thereby cost of products can be reduced.

However, according to conventional tape-attached electric wire manufacturing equipment, in the case of an extrusion device and a roll crimping device, the wiring part must be exposed as necessary after forming the tape-attached electric wire.
Since it is necessary to peel off the tape-like covering by a predetermined length, the work is troublesome, and there is a risk that wire breakage or damage may occur to the insulated conductor during the work.

In addition, since the peeled tape-like covering is not used,
There is an inconvenience in that manufacturing costs are wasted and costs increase. Furthermore, in the case of a mold crimping device, molds of various sizes are required to obtain various products, and as the wire size becomes longer, the mold becomes larger. Therefore, the positioning of the tape and the insulated wire core becomes complicated, which, together with the problem of the type and size of the mold, causes an inconvenience that increases the cost.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and eliminates the troublesome processing work after manufacturing tape-attached electric wires, and enables production using simple equipment without causing deterioration in quality. In order to reduce the cost of the product, a tape-shaped covering cut to a predetermined length is placed on a mounting table, and the tape-shaped covering is cut to a predetermined length from the insulated wire core insertion hole of the tape-shaped covering. By inserting the insulated wire cores in a predetermined relative positional relationship to form a composite, clamping the composite with a chuck, and moving the chuck in the withdrawal direction while pressurizing and heating with a pressurizing and heating means such as a mold. The present invention provides an apparatus for manufacturing a tape-attached electric wire, which manufactures a tape-attached electric wire.

FIG. 3 shows a tape-like covering 15, in which an insulated wire core insertion hole 14 is formed between two plastic tapes 12,
It is bonded by an adhesive layer 13. Suitable plastic tapes include polyester, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, or a laminate of aluminum and polyester.
Suitable examples of adhesives 3 include polyethylene adhesives, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer adhesives, polyester adhesives, polyamide adhesives, vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer adhesives, etc. The plastic tape 12 is heated to a temperature higher than its melting temperature and uniformly coated (for example, there are coating methods such as extrusion coating, gravure coating, reverse coating, knife coating, etc.). The two adhesive layered plastic tapes 12 thus obtained are placed facing each other with the adhesive layer 13 interposed therebetween, and heated and inserted using a heating roller except for the portion that will become the insulated wire core insertion hole 14. The heating temperature in this case is higher than the melting temperature of the adhesive 13 and lower than the melting temperature of the plastic tape 12. The tape-shaped covering 15 is manufactured continuously and has a predetermined length based on the design value of the tape-attached electric wire (see Fig. 5 (

In the above configuration, the moss 25 is placed on the tape-shaped covering cut into a predetermined length and the insulated wire core cut into a predetermined length.
and insert the insulated wire core 9 into the insulated wire core insertion hole 14. At this time, a stainless steel pipe is inserted into the insulated wire core insertion hole 14 in advance to correct the collapse of the insertion hole 14 and make it easier to insert the insulated wire core 9, and after the insulated wire core 9 is inserted, it is pulled out. The insulated wire core 9 is positioned so that a predetermined length is exposed from both ends of the tape-like covering 15, and the tip of the tape-like covering I5 is held between chucks 20a and 20b that are opened and closed by an air cylinder or the like. Then, the inner surfaces of the front and back sides of the sandwiched tape-like covering 15 are pressurized and heated with molds 21a and 21b that are opened and closed using air cylinders, etc., while being heated by the motor M.
When the screw shaft 23 is rotated by the drive of the motor M and the chucks 20a and 20b are drawn toward the motor M side, the mold 2
1a, 21b to separate the outer periphery of the insulated wire core 9 and the tape-like covering 15! The inner periphery of the wire core insertion hole 14 is fused over the entire length of the tape-like covering 15. The tape-like covering 15 and the insulated wire core 9 thus fused are cooled by the blower 24 and integrated, thereby producing a tape-attached electric wire.
