(Prior art) When inspecting the water quality of underground pore water, especially stagnant water existing in permeable layers due to various circumstances,
Conventionally, the most common method has been to pump up and collect groundwater that has accumulated at the bottom of an excavation hole drilled underground to a predetermined depth using a known simple container or the like. In a more advanced method, a water sampler with a structure as disclosed in Utility Model Application Publication No. 48-55885 is used, which is successively lowered into the excavated hole to pump up and collect the groundwater accumulated at the base of the hole. It is also being considered.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in any of the above cases, the purpose may not be achieved due to the mixing of intermediate soil or the mixing of interstitial water above the aquifer layer at the planned depth. As it has been impossible to accurately test the water quality of local groundwater in the aquifer layer, the current situation is that water quality tests have been completed by rough examination within a certain allowable range.

However, as is well known, it goes without saying that there is a need and importance of more accurately identifying the quality of groundwater due to the influence of industrial wastewater, etc. In order to conduct accurate water quality testing, it is necessary to sufficiently prevent the contamination of underground components other than the target area.

Furthermore, although it has been theoretically established that it is more complete to sample groundwater from underground, which is further below the bottom of a borehole excavated in advance using a known boring device, it is well known that Due to its structure, this water sampler cannot be used for the above purpose.

(Means for Solving the Problem) As a result of various experiments and research carried out over many years, the inventor of the present invention has found that it is possible to reliably sample only the underground water at the target location, and in particular, to collect underground water from further below the bottom of the borehole. Enables water sampling in Nakauchi,
In addition, we have completed a water sampling device that can be easily disassembled and cleaned after use. Specifically, a ring-shaped body is added to the inner peripheral side of the relatively lower part where the water is sequentially fed into the water retention layer by adding a tubular body. It consists of a casing with a protruding stopper, and a valve body that is loosely fitted into the casing, and the valve body has a flange located above the ring-shaped stopper at its upper end.
In addition, a cone, which is located below the ring-shaped stopper at the lower end and has a sharp tip and protrudes downward from the tip of the casing, is attached in the vertical direction along the inner circumferential surface of the casing. In addition to being slidably provided, a water passage hole is provided in the valve body with one opening on the upper surface side of the flange and the other opening on the side surface closer to the cone, and furthermore, a sand bag is provided in the water passage hole. This invention relates to a groundwater sampling device characterized by being filled with groundwater.

(Function) In the above-described configuration, the invention of the present application lowers the water sampling device into an excavated hole that has been previously bored to a certain depth with a known boring machine until it reaches the desired depth while sequentially adding cylindrical bodies, or With the cone at the tip in contact with the bottom of the borehole, tap the upper end of the cylindrical body that has been added above, or tap the flange above the valve body from the inside of the cylindrical body and drill the cone together with the casing. It is allowed to penetrate further underground from the bottom and sink to the desired depth underground.

Groundwater enters the predetermined location from the opened tip of the casing, and flows into the casing from the upper surface of the flange while sequentially permeating through the sand bag fitted into the water hole of the valve body. The water that accumulates within the casing is pulled up to the ground along with the casing itself.

That is, when the valve body is lifted upward by a lifting means (not shown), the cone is also lifted upward, and the inner circumferential side of the tip of the casing is almost sealed by the outer circumferential surface of the cone through an appropriate sealing material. By lifting the valve body as it is, the upper end of the cone comes into contact with the ring-shaped stopper of the casing, and then the casing is lifted.

When the water sampling device A reaches the planned depth in the borehole or underground where water should be sampled, the cone 3 is cased by means such as hitting the upper surface of the flange 6 of the valve body 5 from inside the casing 1. 1, as shown in FIG. 2, the interstitial water in the ground permeates through the sand bag 8 loaded in the water passage hole 5b of the valve body 5 in the direction shown by the arrow. It enters the casing 1 while filtering impurities with a relatively large particle size, and is accumulated there.
In addition, W in the figure indicates the accumulated groundwater.

Furthermore, since a sand bag is packed into the water passage hole of the valve body, most of the infiltrated material is captured in the sand during water sampling, and there is no contamination of other substances, and the target area is completely covered. Groundwater can be reliably sampled and accurate water quality tests can be carried out. Furthermore, the sand bag can be replaced at will after use, and the cone can be separated from the valve body for cleaning, making maintenance easy for the next use. It has beneficial effects such as excellent workability.
