Unlike the warp pile yarn of fiber carpet (Wilton), the pile yarn of tufted carpet is pulled out from the cone and tufted directly, so it is not subjected to strong tension. Can be used.

Such lightly twisted spun single yarn has good productivity because it has a small number of twists and does not need to go through the twisting process, but on the other hand, it is prone to pile fuzzing and pilling.
Furthermore, since the convergence force between the fibers is weak, the hairs tend to open and become flat.

Therefore, the present invention improves the convergence power of pile fibers without impairing covering properties or bulky properties, and is composed of a polyester fiber pile with a so-called pencil point, which has a soft touch and a good texture, in which the fibers at the pile end converge without fuzzing or pilling. The purpose is to obtain a tufted carpet with a high quality.

The tufting method of the present invention meets the above-mentioned objectives, and involves blending raw cotton containing 80% by weight or more of polyester fiber raw cotton containing low melting point polyester fibers with a melting point of around 120°C at a ratio of 30% by weight or less, and passing it through a spinning card. After spinning, the spun yarn is re-wound through a heating zone of 120°C or higher, heat-set, and then pulled out from the conical cone for tufting.

This means that less than % by weight must be low melting point polyester fibers.

It has a melting point of 300℃, which has been commonly used.
This corresponds to the front and rear polyester fibers.
The proportion of such low melting point polyester fibers in the pile yarn may be 2 to 5% by weight.

That is, in the present invention, during rewinding, heating is performed at a temperature higher than the melting point of low melting point polyester fibers and far lower than the melting point of general polyester fibers,
The spun yarn is thermally set by fusing low melting point polyester fibers to general polyester fibers, and the heating temperature in this case is preferably about 145 to 155°C.

Polyester fibers are difficult to bond with adhesives, but when they are melted and the polyester fibers are fused together, they are strongly bonded. That is, in the present invention, the low melting point polyester fiber is mixed to also serve as an adhesive, thereby bonding the general high melting point polyester fibers that form the main body of the pile yarn, and the low melting point polyester resin serving as the adhesive of,
Rather than preparing an emulsion or a fluid dissolved in an organic solvent and attaching it to form a lump, it is used as a long, thinly stretched and oriented fiber, so even a few percent blending ratio, which is much lower than that of high melting point polyester fiber, is sufficient. This produces a convergence effect between fibers.

好都合である。 In this way, by melting the low-melting point polyester fibers, ordinary high-melting point polyester fibers are finely bonded together, eliminating pilling and fluffing without impairing the bulkiness and soft texture characteristic of the spun yarn of the pile.
It is possible to obtain a tufted carpet with a pencil point-like pile in which the ends of the pile are difficult to open, and therefore, the present invention is particularly advantageous for tufted carpets with cut piles in which the fibers at the ends of the pile are sheared and easily open.

Tufted carpet is not expensive,
It is economical because it can be easily implemented without drastically changing the conventional production process.

Just because it is in contact with the material does not cause fusion.
Therefore, if a large amount of other fibers such as acrylic fibers are mixed, the effects of the present invention cannot be obtained, and therefore, the mixing ratio of other fibers must be 20% by weight or less.
If a small amount of other fibers such as acrylic fibers are mixed within this range, the polyester fibers will not adhere as tightly as necessary and will result in fine point adhesion in some areas, resulting in a bulkier finish. It is recommended to incorporate a few percentages of other fibers, which results in a more favorable tufted carpet.

するところ多大である。 As is clear, according to the present invention, pilling, fuzzing, hair opening at the tip of the pile, etc. can be suppressed,
A novel polyester fiber tufted carpet that is bulky, soft to the touch, and has a pencil point appearance can be obtained economically, and the industrial advantages of the present invention are thus large.
