As described in Publication No. 25739, a temperature sensor installed outside the machine detects the outside temperature and also controls the heater, and as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-57499, it detects the temperature of clothing. Alternatively, in a device that automatically stops by detecting a temperature difference between the supply and exhaust air, the remaining time of the additional time is displayed in a device that operates in a timed manner after detection, and when the remaining time of the timed operation is displayed, the time change in the temperature difference in the supply and exhaust air at the beginning of drying. A device that predicts and displays the remaining time is known.

In conventional clothes dryers, judgments are made based on a single detection value, so there is a high possibility that an error will occur in the degree of dryness.Furthermore, the detector is constantly working, which greatly reduces efficiency.

The heat pump type clothes dryer of this invention uses the condenser of a refrigeration cycle consisting of a compressor, a condenser, a throttling mechanism, and an evaporator as a heat source, and uses the condenser of a refrigeration cycle as a heat source to remove evaporated air from damp clothes suspended in a closed space such as a bathroom. The air that has become humid due to moisture is cooled, dehumidified, and then reheated to generate low-temperature dry air. This generated air is then blown out to the clothes. An auxiliary electric heater for air heating is installed on the air outlet side of the condenser, and the clothes Clothes dryness is not detected for a certain period of time after the dryer starts operating, and the clothes dryer suction temperature is detected by a temperature detector, and if the temperature is higher than a predetermined temperature T1 , the auxiliary electric heater is energized. If the suction temperature of the clothes dryer is below a predetermined temperature T2 , the auxiliary electric heater is turned on and operated, and after the completion of drying is detected, clothes drying continues until a certain period of time has elapsed. All operations are terminated after the machine continues to operate, and the temperature sensor detects the suction temperature of the clothes dryer and the degree of dryness at regular intervals.

With the configuration shown in FIG. 1, when the dryer main body 1 is operated with damp clothes after washing and dehydration suspended in the bathroom, the air that has become humid due to the evaporation of moisture from the clothes is transferred to the suction port 8 on the bottom of the main body. The air is sucked into the air, cooled and dehumidified by the evaporator 5, heated (reheated) by the condenser 3, and air with a temperature higher than the suction temperature and low humidity is blown out from the air outlet 9 and hits the clothes. At this time, by evaporating moisture from the clothes, the air blown out from the main body is deprived of heat, the temperature decreases, the humidity becomes high, and the air is sucked into the main body suction port. By repeating the above action, the moisture content of the clothes is gradually reduced and drying is completed. At this time, the air temperature 11 of the clothes dryer suction 8 is detected by a temperature detector as shown in step 43 of FIG. As shown in steps 44 and 46 in FIG. 5, the relay 14 is turned off by the control circuit 16 in FIG. In Fig. 3, if the temperature is below the predetermined temperature T 2 (for example, 9°C), the relay 14 is turned on by the control circuit 16 in Fig. 6, as shown in steps 45 and 47 in Fig. 5, and the above-mentioned assistance is activated. The electric heater 6 is energized and operated, and for a certain period of time after the clothes dryer starts operating (t 1 hour in FIG. 3), as shown in step 48 in FIG. After a certain period of time ( t1 hour in Figure 3) has elapsed after the start of operation, a separately provided drying detector detects the end of drying as shown in step 49 in Figure 5, and then steps The clothes dryer continues to operate until a certain period of time ( t2 hours in Figure 3) has elapsed as shown at 51.
Thereafter, as shown in steps 50 and 52 of FIG.
By turning off the relay 13 by the control circuit in FIG. 6 and ending all operations, the auxiliary electric heater 6 can be energized even when the suction temperature 11 to the clothes dryer is low and a large dehumidification effect cannot be obtained. This allows high-temperature, low-humidity air to be applied to damp clothing, reducing drying time.

Furthermore, after the clothes drying detector detects the end of drying, the clothes dryer continues to operate until a certain period of time has elapsed, and then all operations are terminated. There is no waste in continuing drying, and since the operation continues for a certain period of time even after drying is completed, there is no fear that the operation will end without drying being completed, even in delicate detection such as dryness detection.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the operational explanatory diagram of FIG. 4, the flowchart of FIG. 7, and the electric circuit diagram of FIG. 6. Note that the same reference numerals as in FIG. 5 indicate the same or corresponding parts, and since this embodiment is similar to the first embodiment of the present invention, common operations will be omitted. The feature of this embodiment is that, as shown in step 47 in FIG. 7, the control circuit 16 in FIG. 6 turns on the relay 14 at all times, keeps the auxiliary electric heater 6 energized at all times, and closes the clothes dryer outlet. In this way, the dehumidifying effect of the clothes dryer can be increased, and high temperature and low humidity air can be applied to the hanging damp clothes 20. Furthermore, the operating time can be shortened, and the effect is great when a large dehumidifying effect is required, such as being able to dry a large amount of clothes at the same time.
In addition, since the operating pattern can be easily changed by switching the switch or the like, there is also the effect that extremely energy-saving operation can be performed depending on the type and amount of clothes to be dried.

The feature of this embodiment is that while the clothes dryer is in operation, the air temperature 11 at the clothes dryer suction port 8 is measured by a temperature sensor, and the dryness is measured by a dryness detector in step 53 of FIG. As shown, the detection is performed at fixed time intervals (Δt 1 ), and by doing so, the air temperature 11 of the clothes dryer suction port 8 and the drying temperature, which change slightly with time, can be detected. It is possible to detect the temperature without being affected by errors, and it is possible to dry clothes efficiently and to save energy.

As explained above, the present invention uses a detector that detects the air temperature at the suction port of the main body of the dryer to turn on and off electricity to the auxiliary electric heater, and also uses a drying completion detection means to detect the temperature of the air at the suction port of the dryer body. Since the operation ends quickly after drying, it improves the operating efficiency for drying and has the effect of saving energy.

In a heat pump type clothes dryer that reheats after cooling and dehumidifying to generate low-temperature dry air and then blows this generated air onto clothes to accelerate the drying of damp clothes, an air heating device is installed on the air outlet side of the condenser. An auxiliary electric heater is installed, and the drying of clothes is not detected for a certain period of time after the clothes dryer starts operating, and the clothes dryer suction temperature is detected by a temperature sensor, and the temperature is set at a predetermined temperature.
If the temperature is T1 or above, the auxiliary electric heater is turned off, and if the suction temperature of the clothes dryer is below the predetermined temperature T2 , the auxiliary electric heater is turned on and operated to dry the clothes. After detecting the end, the clothes dryer continues to operate until a certain period of time has elapsed, and then all operations are terminated, and
A heat pump type clothes dryer, characterized in that the temperature detector detects the suction temperature of the clothes dryer and detects the degree of dryness at regular time intervals.
