Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a functional powder supporting sheet without spoiling any characteristics of the powder itself by having a functional powder such as a gas absorbent or a catalyst supported by at least one face of a sheet made of an electret fiber. CONSTITUTION:An electret fiber, a raw material of a sheet, is turned into a sheet form such as paper, no-woven fabric or cloth. A functional powder supporting sheet is formed by having a gas adsorbent powder of cristobalite, Oya-ishi, coral sand, etc., or a catalyst such as ultrafine metal powder supported on the sheet by adopting an electrostatic adsorption method etc. The obtained functional powder supporting sheet can improve handling of the powder without spoiling any characteristics of the functional powder itself, and is possible to be used as a gas adsorption sheet or a catalyst sheet without any further treatments.
