Description
The present invention relates to cardboard ducts used in the piping that makes up the air conditioning equipment of various buildings.
Various proposals have been made for cardboard ducts to be used in the piping of air conditioning equipment, but an example of a conventional cardboard duct related to the cardboard duct of the present invention is the
As shown in FIG. 10(b), this
Another example of a conventional cardboard duct related to the cardboard duct of the present invention is the "cardboard duct for air conditioning" described in
The
The
In addition, the
Furthermore, due to the elastic restoring force of the
As a result, as time passes after the installation of the
Also, in the "cardboard duct for air conditioning" described in Patent Document 1 (
As a result, as time passes after the installation of the
The portion indicated by the arrow C in FIG. 10(a) has a structure in which the inner surface of the
In addition, the portion indicated by the arrow D in FIG. 12 has a double structure in which the
Therefore, when connecting the
The problem that this invention aims to solve is to provide a cardboard duct that is highly pressure-resistant and durable and that is less likely to separate at the joints between the side edges of the cardboard sheet material due to the internal pressure of the conditioned air.
The cardboard duct according to the present invention is
A polygonal tubular body formed by folding a single cardboard sheet and abutting the side edges against each other;
Alternatively, a polygonal tubular body formed by opposing a plurality of folded cardboard sheets and abutting their side edges against each other,
Alternatively, any one of a plurality of corrugated cardboard sheets is combined so that their side edges are adjacent to each other, and the side edges are abutted against each other to form a polygonal cylindrical body;
a joining means for joining the side edges of the polygonal tubular body that are in contact with each other,
The cardboard sheet is characterized in that the side edge portion is provided with a mating edge having abutting surfaces that intersect obliquely with the planar direction of the cardboard sheet and come into contact with each other.
With this configuration, the butt surfaces located at the joints between the mating edges formed on the side edges of the cardboard sheet material intersect at an angle with the planar direction of the cardboard sheet material, reducing the force that pulls the butt surfaces apart, caused by the internal pressure of the conditioned air, making it difficult for the mating edges to separate, and improving the pressure resistance and durability of the cardboard duct.
In the cardboard duct, adhesive tape can be used as the joining means.
With this configuration, the mating edges of the cardboard sheets can be joined together in a highly airtight and strong manner with simple work.
In the cardboard duct, it is desirable to provide a cut portion having a V-cut surface with a V-shaped cross section on the inside of the folded edge formed by folding the cardboard sheet material.
This configuration reduces the elastic restoring force of the cardboard sheet material when and after it is bent, making the bending easier and allowing the formation of a polygonal tubular body with an accurate cross-sectional shape, while also improving assembly workability at the construction site. Furthermore, after bending, the shape stability of the polygonal tubular body is increased, the corners are less likely to deform, and expansion of the duct is suppressed, which is effective in improving the pressure resistance and durability of the cardboard duct.
In the cardboard duct, it is desirable to cover the butt surfaces or the V-cut surfaces with adhesive tape.
This configuration can increase the airtightness and strength of the areas where the butt surfaces and the V-cut surfaces come into contact, which is effective in improving the pressure resistance and durability of the cardboard duct.
In the cardboard duct, it is desirable that the inclination angle of the acute angle formed between the planar direction of the cardboard sheet material and the butt surface or the V-cut surface is half the interior angle of the polygonal cylindrical body.
This configuration allows the abutting surfaces and the V-cut surfaces of the cardboard sheets to come into surface contact with each other, improving the adhesion and airtightness of the V-cut surfaces and is effective in improving the pressure resistance and durability of the cardboard duct.
In the cardboard duct, it is desirable to cover the end faces of the cardboard plate material that form part of a plane that intersects with the longitudinal direction of the polygonal cylindrical body with adhesive tape.
With this configuration, when multiple cardboard ducts are connected in the longitudinal direction, the airtightness and strength of the areas where the end faces come into contact can be increased, which is effective in improving the pressure resistance and durability of the cardboard ducts.
This invention makes it possible to provide a cardboard duct that is highly pressure-resistant and durable, and is less susceptible to separation at the joints between the side edges of the cardboard sheet material due to the internal pressure of the conditioned air.
Below,
First, the
Here, a method for manufacturing the
The arrow M shown in the portion of the cardboard corrugated
As shown in FIG. 3(a), three
As shown in Figure 3(b), cut
As shown in FIG. 5, the inclination angle R of the acute angle formed between the plane S direction of the
Next,
Next, as shown in FIG. 4(a), the
As shown in Figures 2 and 3(b), in the
As shown in FIG. 2, the butt surfaces 10c, 10d intersect at an angle (inclination angle R = 45 degrees) with the plane S direction of the
As mentioned above, in the
In addition, in the
As shown by the multiple parallel straight lines L in Figure 1, in the
As shown in Figures 3(b) and (c), in the
As a result, the bending process at the construction site becomes easier, and a square
As shown in Figures 3(b) and (c), in the
In addition, in the
As shown in FIG. 2, the shape of the
Next,
Another embodiment of the
As shown in FIG. 6(a), in two
