FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a wiring device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a wiring device configured to allow multiple power plugs (not shown) to be inserted and removed. The wiring device 100 may be, for example, a power outlet bar installed in a rack to supply power to devices constituting a server, as shown in FIG. 1. However, the wiring device 100 is not limited to this example, and may be a power outlet installed on the wall of a building, etc.
The wiring device 100 includes a housing 1 having a plurality of plug receptacles (12a, 12b) with sockets for inserting the plug blades of a power plug. FIG. 1 shows an example in which eight pairs of two plug receptacles (12a, 12b) are arranged in the housing 1, but this is not limited to this example, and the number of pairs of two plug receptacles (12a, 12b) may be selected arbitrarily. The plug receptacles (12a, 12b) may be made of an insulating material.
2(a) and (b) show perspective views of a wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. FIG. 2(a) is an enlarged perspective view of the wiring device 100 of FIG. 1 cut along lines A-A and B-B, showing the state before the push-down parts (42a, 42b) are pushed down. FIG. 2(b) is an enlarged perspective view of the wiring device 100 of FIG. 1 cut along lines C-C and D-D, showing the state after the push-down parts (42a, 42b) are pushed down. The wiring device 100 has a locking mechanism to prevent the inserted
That is, when the
As described below, when the push-down parts (42a, 42b) are pressed down, two sliding members (not shown) built into the housing 1 slide. At this time, the sliding direction of the two sliding members is the direction indicated by the arrows D1 and D2 in the longitudinal direction of the housing 1, as shown in FIG. 2(b). Both sliding members are configured to slide in the same direction, and do not come into contact with each other inside the housing 1.
Next, the configuration of the locking mechanism of the wiring device 100 according to one embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. FIGS. 3(a) to 3(c) show perspective cross-sectional views of the
The
When the
The
The sliding
A
The
The operation of the above-mentioned locking mechanism will be described based on the change in the position of each component. FIG. 4 is a top view of the
As shown in FIG. 3(b), when the
Furthermore, if the width in the y-axis direction of the
If the positions on the x-axis of both ends of the
Next, as shown in FIG. 3(c), when the
The body of the
(Arrangement of two adjacent pressing parts)
Next, the arrangement of two adjacent push-down portions arranged in the wiring device 100 will be described. Fig. 5 shows a top view of the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Fig. 5, two push-down portions (42a, 42b) corresponding to two plug receptacles (12a, 12b) among the multiple plug receptacles are arranged adjacent to the surface of the housing 1, and the positions of the two push-down portions (42a, 42b) arranged adjacent to each other are shifted from each other in a direction perpendicular to a center line Lc of the housing 1 extending in the longitudinal direction of the housing 1.
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5, the positions of the end of one push-down
(Motion of two adjacent sliding members)
Next, the operation of two adjacent sliding members constituting the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. In the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the two sliding members (3a, 3b) provided corresponding to the two pressing parts (42a, 42b) may slide in the same direction when the two pressing parts (42a, 42b) are pressed down. Figures 6(a) and 6(b) show cross-sectional views of two adjacent plug receivers (12a, 12b), elastic members (2a, 2b), sliding members (3a, 3b), and pressing parts (42a, 42b) constituting the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Figure 6(a) is a cross-sectional view showing a state before pressing down the pressing parts (42a, 42b), and Figure 6(b) is a cross-sectional view showing a state after pressing down the pressing parts (42a, 42b). The
(Coloring of two adjacent depressions)
Next, the coloring of two adjacent push-down parts constituting the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. (Display)
Next, the display units arranged near two adjacent plug receptacles constituting the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. The wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure further includes two display units (5a, 5b) arranged near the two plug receptacles (12a, 12b), corresponding to each of the two plug receptacles (12a, 12b), and displaying identification information of the plug receptacles (12a, 12b), and the display units (5a, 5b) may be colored in different colors. The wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure further includes two display units (5a, 5b) arranged near the two plug receptacles (12a, 12b), corresponding to each of the two plug receptacles (12a, 12b), and displaying identification information of the plug receptacles (12a, 12b), and the colors of the two display units (5a, 5b) may be the same as the colors of the push-down parts (42a, 42b) corresponding to the corresponding plug receptacles (12a, 12b). As shown in FIG. 5, the display units (5a, 5b) are disposed near the two plug receptacles (12a, 12b), respectively, and display the identification information of the two plug receptacles (12a, 12b). For example, the display unit 5a disposed near one
Furthermore, the color of one display unit 5a may be the same as the color of one push-down
(Configuration of the pressing section)
In the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the two push-down portions (42a, 42b) may each be formed with unevenness (421a, 421b). As shown in FIG. 2(a) , the unevenness may be, for example, a plurality of grooves formed along the longitudinal direction of the housing 1. However, the present invention is not limited to such an example, and minute unevenness may be formed on the surface of the push-down portions (42a, 42b) to increase the coefficient of friction. By forming unevenness on the push-down portions (42a, 42b), it is possible to prevent the push-down portion corresponding to the power plug to be removed from being pressed by mistake.
(Modification of the pressing section)
Next, a modified example of the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described. FIG. 7 shows a perspective view of the wiring device 100 according to the modified example of the embodiment of the present disclosure. In the wiring device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the two push-down portions (43a, 43b) each include an inclined portion (431a, 431b) inclined at a predetermined angle, and the normal directions of the surfaces of the two inclined portions (431a, 431b) may be different from each other. FIG. 7 is an enlarged perspective view of a portion cut along line B-B and line C-C of the wiring device 100 shown in FIG. 1. The normal direction of the surface of the inclined portion 431a formed in the push-down portion 43a may be different from the normal direction of the surface of the inclined portion 431b formed in the push-down portion 43b. By providing the inclined portions (431a, 431b) on the push-down portions (43a, 43b), the amount of reflected light reaching the user from the inclined portions (431a, 431b) of the two push-down portions (43a, 43b) can be made different, so that the difference in appearance can be emphasized and it is possible to prevent the user from pushing the wrong push-down portion corresponding to the power plug to be removed. Note that the colors of the two inclined portions (431a, 431b) may be made different from each other.
