Description
FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner , a home appliance system, and an evaluation method .
Some home appliances, such as vacuum cleaners, are operated by the user. Vacuum cleaners are equipped with a dust sensor that detects dirt (dust) sucked into the head. Whether the vacuum cleaner is being used efficiently is determined based on the detection results of the dust sensor. However, it can be difficult to determine whether the vacuum cleaner is being used efficiently based only on the amount of dust sucked in detected by the dust sensor.
The problem that the present invention aims to solve is to provide a vacuum cleaner , a home appliance system, an evaluation method, and an evaluation method that can accurately determine whether or not the user is using the home appliance efficiently by detecting the operation of the home appliance operated by the user.
The vacuum cleaner of the embodiment is a vacuum cleaner that includes a head unit that sucks up dust and cleans a surface to be cleaned by a user's operation. The vacuum cleaner has an operation detection unit, an evaluation unit, a dust detection unit, a storage unit, and an evaluation criterion adjustment unit. The operation detection unit detects operation information indicating the operation of the head unit. The evaluation unit evaluates the operation of the head unit based on the operation information detected by the operation detection unit and a predetermined evaluation criterion. The dust detection unit detects the amount of dust sucked from the head unit. The storage unit stores operation information indicating the operation of the head unit detected by the operation detection unit and dust amount information indicating the amount of dust detected by the dust detection unit in association with each other. The evaluation criterion adjustment unit adjusts the evaluation criterion based on the dust amount information and the operation information accumulated in the storage unit. The evaluation criterion is a learning model that is composed of a neural network and outputs an evaluation value indicating an evaluation result of the operation of the head unit from an output layer when the operation information is input to an input layer. The evaluation standard adjustment unit additionally trains the learning model using training data that associates the action information detected by the action detection unit during cleaning with the evaluation value calculated based on the dust amount information.

[1-1. Overall configuration of the vacuum cleaner]
1 is a perspective view showing the overall configuration of a vacuum cleaner. The
The
The
The
The
The
The
これら電子部品は、例えば、コンピュータプログラムを実行する、CPU(Central Processing Unit)などのハードウェアプロセッサ、LSI(Large Scale Integration)、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)、PLD(Programmable Logic Device)などのうち1つ以上の部品を含む。
The
The
The
[1-2. Head section]
2 is a perspective view showing a head unit of the vacuum cleaner. The
The connecting
The
The first
The second
[1-3. Functional configuration of the vacuum cleaner]
3 is a block diagram showing the functional configuration of the
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
The
For example, the evaluation criterion is the appropriate range of the data included in the motion information. Specifically, when the evaluation criterion is a value representing the appropriate speed range of the
The
If the
The

Figure 5 is a schematic diagram of a part of the neural network used in the learning model. x indicates the value of the unit (node) in each layer. The value of each unit is calculated using a specified function by multiplying the output of the unit in the previous layer by a weight w and adding them together. These can be expressed as the following equation.

Next, the evaluation criterion adjustment process will be described. The condition of the floor surface (hardwood floor, long-pile carpet, etc.) in the user's room to be cleaned varies depending on the user who uses the

Figure 7 is a flowchart showing the evaluation criterion adjustment process. This flowchart is executed repeatedly at regular time intervals while the user is operating the

Next, the evaluation

In the above description, a "vacuum cleaner" has been described as an example of a home appliance, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the home appliance may be an "iron" that a user uses to remove wrinkles from clothes. In this case, the iron may be provided with a motion detection unit that detects the motion of the iron operated by the user. The evaluation unit may evaluate the motion of the iron detected by the motion detection unit based on a predetermined evaluation criterion.
In addition to the configuration described in the above embodiment, the present invention may also store information indicating the operation of a home appliance, its evaluation value, evaluation-related information, and changes over time in evaluation criteria adjusted based on these, and provide an output function that allows the user to check these changes. In this way, the user can feel that they have improved their ability to operate the home appliance, and it is expected that using the home appliance will become more enjoyable.
In addition, in the home appliance or home appliance system according to the present invention, a function for identifying the user who operated the home appliance, for example, which family member used it, may be provided, and information indicating the operation of the home appliance, its evaluation value, evaluation-related information, evaluation criteria adjusted based on these, and other information may be stored for each user. In this way, it becomes possible to evaluate the operation of the home appliance and adjust the operation control of the home appliance according to the individual habits of the user. The function for identifying the user who operated the home appliance may be realized by a well-known method, such as accepting input from the user who uses the home appliance at each time.

The home appliance or home appliance system according to the present invention can also be realized in a manner in which the motion detection unit is provided in a terminal device worn by the user and information on the user's operation is received from the terminal device. In this case, it is preferable to provide a function in the terminal device for inputting the timing to activate or terminate the function of the motion detection unit. In this way, it is possible to obtain information from the motion detection unit by distinguishing between when the home appliance is being operated and other times. For example, the above terminal device can be a smart watch worn by the user or a smartphone placed in the pocket of the user's clothes.
