Description
Related to heat exchangers, refrigerant cycle devices, and water heaters.
A plate-type heat exchanger is known in which multiple heat transfer plates are stacked at a predetermined interval to form flow paths for a first fluid and flow paths for a second fluid alternately in the stacking direction, thereby exchanging heat between the two fluids.
Patent Document 1 (JP Patent Publication No. 2012-512382) mainly discloses a heat transfer plate (heat exchange plate) having two circulation ports through which one fluid flows in or out, a heat transfer area in which multiple grooves are formed to allow the inflowing fluid to exchange heat, a connection part (distribution area) in which grooves are formed that connect the circulation ports and the heat transfer area, and a pair of through holes through which the other fluid passes, and a heat exchanger using the same.
In the heat exchanger of Patent Document 1, the length of the flow path through which the first fluid flows is the same as the length of the flow path through which the second fluid flows. Therefore, the two fluids experience the same degree of pressure loss inside the heat exchanger. When comparing the rate of pressure reduction caused by the pressure loss thus generated, the fluid with the lower inflow pressure of the two fluids experiences a relatively greater rate of pressure reduction. As a result, there is an issue that the heat exchanger cannot fully demonstrate its heat exchange performance.
This disclosure provides a heat exchanger that can ensure heat exchange performance even when there is a pressure difference between the inflows of two fluids, as well as a refrigerant cycle device and a water heater that use the same.
The heat exchanger of the first aspect comprises a first heat transfer plate and a second heat transfer plate stacked on top of each other.
The first heat transfer plate has a first flow port, a first through hole, a first heat transfer area, and a first connection portion.
The first flow port introduces or discharges the first fluid. The first through hole allows a second fluid, which has a lower boiling point than the first fluid, to pass through in the thickness direction. The first heat transfer region is a region through which the first fluid that flows in from the first flow port exchanges heat with the second fluid as it passes. The first connection portion has one end connected to the first flow port and the other end connected to the first heat transfer region.
The second heat transfer plate has a second flow port, a second through hole, a second heat transfer area, and a second connection portion.
The second flow port communicates with the first through hole and introduces or discharges the second fluid. The first fluid passes through the second through hole in the thickness direction. The second heat transfer region is a region through which the second fluid that flows in from the second flow port exchanges heat with the first fluid as it passes. The second connection portion has one end connected to the second flow port and the other end connected to the second heat transfer region.
The second flow port is formed at a position opposite the second heat transfer area across the second through hole. The second connection portion is formed so as to wrap around the outside of the second through hole, and is provided with a second protrusion.
In this heat exchanger, the second connection part is formed so as to wrap around the outside of the second through hole. In other words, the length of the flow path of the first connection part through which the first fluid passes is formed shorter than the length of the flow path of the second connection part through which the second fluid, which has a lower boiling point than the first fluid, passes. Therefore, the pressure loss caused in the first fluid when passing through the first connection part can be made smaller than the pressure loss caused in the second fluid when passing through the second connection part. This prevents the pressure of the first fluid from decreasing at a large rate. Therefore, with this heat exchanger, heat exchange performance can be ensured even if there is a difference in pressure when the two fluids flow in.
The heat exchanger of the second aspect is the heat exchanger of the first aspect, in which the second protrusion is linear in plan view.

The seventh aspect of the heat exchanger is the heat exchanger of the first aspect, in which the second protrusion is teardrop-shaped in a plan view.
The heat exchanger of the eighth aspect is the heat exchanger of the first aspect, in which the first connection portion is formed so that the flow path cross-sectional area expands from the first flow port toward the first heat transfer area.
With this heat exchanger, the pressure loss occurring in the first fluid passing through the first connection part is further reduced, so that a large decrease in the pressure of the first fluid is further suppressed, and heat exchange performance can be ensured more effectively.

(3-1)
(3) Features (3-1)
The
The first
The
The second
The
The
In a heat exchanger equipped with two heat transfer plates, when the length of the flow path through which the first fluid flows and the length of the flow path through which the second fluid flows are formed to be the same, the two fluids experience the same degree of pressure loss. When comparing the rate of pressure reduction caused by the pressure loss thus generated, the fluid with the lower inflow pressure of the two fluids experiences a greater rate of pressure reduction. As a result, there is a problem in that the heat exchanger is unable to fully demonstrate its heat exchange performance.

(1-4-2) Operation of the heat
