前記軸受部品は、焼入れ及び焼戻しの行われた鋼製であり、
前記鋼は、0.90質量パーセント以上1.20質量パーセント以下の炭素と、0.35質量パーセント以上0.80質量パーセント以下のシリコンと、0.80質量パーセント以上1.20質量パーセント以下のマンガンと、0.30質量パーセント未満のニッケルと、0.80質量パーセント以上1.30質量パーセント以下のクロムと、0.10質量パーセント未満のモリブデンと、残部をなす鉄及び不可避不純物とからなり、
前記鋼中のシリコン濃度を前記鋼中のマンガン濃度で除した値は、0.51未満になっており、
前記鋼中の残留オーステナイト量は、13体積パーセント以上35体積パーセント未満である、玉軸受。 - 前記接触面と前記接触面からの深さ方向における距離が10μmとなる位置との間における前記鋼中の平均窒素濃度は、0.01質量パーセント未満である、請求項1に記載の玉軸受。
- 前記軸受部品の肉厚は、30mm以下であり、
前記軸受部品の肉厚は、前記軸受部品が前記内輪である場合に前記内輪の外径と内径との差を2で除した値であり、前記軸受部品が外輪である場合に前記外輪の外径と内径との差を2で除した値であり、前記軸受部品が前記玉である場合に前記玉の直径である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の玉軸受。 - 前記軸受部品は、前記内輪又は前記外輪であり、
前記鋼の硬さは、59HRC以上65HRC以上である、請求項3に記載の玉軸受。 - 前記軸受部品は、前記玉であり、
