Description
24個のパウチ形電池セルを含む電池モジュールを準備し、該24個のパウチ形電池セルに順に1番電池セルから24番電池セルまでと番号を付した。前記電池モジュールの内部に熱電対(thermocouple)を挿入して11番電池セル(#11)と24番電池セル(#24)の表面に付着させた。
前記実施例において熱伝達物質を冷却部材の上面のうち電池モジュールが配置される部分と対応する面積全体に塗布した以外は、前記実施例と同一にして電池モジュールを準備した。

Claims (11)
- 複数の電池セルが積層された電池セルスタックが収容されたモジュールケース;
前記電池セルスタックと前記モジュールケースの第1面との間に付加された放熱性樹脂;
前記電池セルスタックを冷却させるために前記モジュールケースの第1面の外側に結合する冷却部材;及び
前記モジュールケースの第1面と対面する前記冷却部材の外面のうち中心部のみに付加されている熱伝達物質;
を含む電池モジュール。 - 前記複数の電池セルは、パウチ形電池セルであり、
前記電池セルスタックは、前記パウチ形電池セルの電極組立体収納部の底面が前記モジュールケースの第1面に垂直となるように積層されており、
前記パウチ形電池セルの全長方向の外面が前記モジュールケースの第1面と平行に配置される、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記熱伝達物質は、前記モジュールケースの全長方向に沿って、前記モジュールケースの全長方向の長さと対応する長さで付加される、請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュールケースの第1面と対面する前記冷却部材の外面のうち、前記モジュールケースの面積と同じ面積を全幅に追って3等分した幅の中心部に前記熱伝達物質が付加される、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記熱伝達物質の厚さは、0.5mm~3mmである、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルスタックは、前記電池セル同士の間に配置される冷却プレートを含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷却プレートは、前記電池セルスタックの積層方向の中心部にある電池セル同士の間に配置される、請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷却プレートは、前記モジュールケースの第1面のうち、前記熱伝達物質と対面する部分の内側面に配置される、請求項6に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷却部材は、冷媒流入口と冷媒排出口が形成されているヒートシンクである、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の電池セルの温度偏差は、3℃以内である、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷却部材の全幅及び全長はそれぞれ、前記モジュールケースの全幅及び全長よりも大きい、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。
