吸収体６は図１（ｃ）に示すように単層構造となっていても、複数の層から成る構造となっていてもよい。
吸収体６としては、公知のもの、例えば、パルプ繊維の積繊体、セルロースアセテート等のフィラメントの集合体、あるいは不織布を基本とし、必要に応じて高吸収性ポリマーを混合、固着等してなるものを用いることができる。
吸収体６は、形状及びポリマー保持等のため、必要に応じてクレープ紙等の、液透過性及び液保持性を有する包装シートによって包装することができる。

The absorbent body 6 is formed in a rectangular shape in Figs. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9, but may be formed in any other suitable shape, such as an hourglass shape having a narrower constricted portion in the crotch region C than the front and rear sides.

図１（ａ）で示すように、展開型吸収性物品をトップシート４側から見て、展開型吸収性物品の股間部Ｃにおける幅方向ＷＤのＱ－Ｑ線、及び幅方向ＷＤの中央における前後方向ＬＤのＲ－Ｒ線で４分割し、装着時左腹にあたる部分を第１部分Ｍ、右腹にあたる部分を第２部分Ｎ、左背にあたる部分を第３部分Ｏ、右背にあたる部分を第４部分Ｐとする。第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎを腹側領域Ｆ、第３部分Ｏ及び第４部分Ｐを背側領域Ｂとする。第１部分Ｍ、第２部分Ｎ、第３部分Ｏ、及び第４部分Ｐは、本発明に係る第１～第６の態様において、同様に対応する部分を指し、図４、５、６、７及び９の展開型吸収性物品の平面図においては、図１（ａ）及び（ｂ）で図示するものと同様の位置を示す。
展開型吸収性物品の製品全長をＹとした場合、中心から前後方向ＬＤに０.２～０.３Ｙを股間部Ｃとする。展開型吸収性物品の股間部Ｃから腹側領域Ｆ前端までの０.３５～０.４Ｙを下腹部Ｌ、股間部Ｃから背側領域Ｂ後端までの０.３５～０.４Ｙを臀部Ｈとする。この値は、身長や体格、性別などの個人差によって変化する。
図１～図３に示す第１の態様１００は、第１の折り位置１、第２の折り位置２及び第３の折り位置３における二つ折りを維持する展開型吸収性物品１００である。図中の立体ギャザーＢＳを有さない形も第１の態様１００に含まれる。また、本明細書内の他のすべての態様にも立体ギャザーＢＳを有さない形が含まれる。
図２及び図３で示すように、第１、第２及び第３の折り位置１、２、及び３で展開型吸収性物品があらかじめ二つに折られているため、介護者が事前に折る手間が不要であり、短時間で装着準備ができる。また、装着前の展開型吸収性物品は図２で示すような形態となっており、トップシート４が露出していないため、衛生的である。
図１（ａ）及び（ｂ）で示すように、腹側領域Ｆにおける第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎと背側領域Ｂにおける第３部分Ｏと第４部分Ｐの間に第１の折り位置１があることで、第１の折り位置１を装着者の股間の位置に合わせやすく、第２及び第３の折り位置２及び３があることで、身体の中心線と展開型吸収性物品１００の中心を合わせやすい。このため、装着自体の時間も短くなる。第１の態様１００の作用効果にも記載の通り、第１の折り位置１は装着時に第２の折り位置２を腹側に引っ張ることで、また、第２の折り位置２は事前に折られていることで、展開型吸収性物品の股間部Ｃは略アーチ状になるため装着者の股間に沿い、第３の折り位置３は逆アーチ状になるため臀部Ｈは装着者の臀部に沿う。このため、装着者にとって展開型吸収性物品装着時の違和感が軽減される。また、装着者の身体に沿った装着状態となることより、漏れが生じにくくなる。 (Example of an expandable absorbent article)

As shown in Fig. 1 (a) and (b), the first folding position 1 is located between the first part M and the second part N in the abdominal region F and the third part O and the fourth part P in the dorsal region B, so that the first folding position 1 can be easily aligned with the position of the wearer's crotch, and the second and third folding positions 2 and 3 can be located to easily align the center line of the body with the center of the unfoldable absorbent article 100. 図４に示す、第２の態様２００では、折りたたんだ際、腹側領域Ｆのバックシート５が第１部分Ｍと第２部分Ｎで固定されている。固定方法には特に制限はなく、メカニカルファスナー、粘着剤、ヒートシール、ホットメルト接着剤等による方法を挙げることができる。メカニカルファスナーによる固定の場合、図４（ｂ）で示すように、第１部分Ｍにフック材９、第２部分Ｎにテープ材８を用いても、その逆でもよい。また、バックシート５が液透過性の不織布の場合、図４（ｄ）で示すように、第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎの少なくとも一方にフック材９を接着し、不織布に直接接着させてもよい。
固定部１０を設けることで、第１の態様１００に比べ、股間部Ｃ前側における肌方向のアーチ状が強く維持されるため、装着者の股間に展開型吸収性物品がより密着しやすく、装着者が動いたときでも、アーチ状が保たれ、漏れを防ぐことができる。
固定部１０は装着者の股間に沿うアーチ状を維持する目的があるため、展開型吸収性物品の腹側領域Ｆにおける股間部Ｃの幅方向ＷＤ中央部で前後方向ＬＤにアーチ状の頂点部分を維持できる場所にあることがよい。固定部１０は、展開型吸収性物品の少なくとも腹側領域Ｆの股間部Ｃに位置し、幅方向ＷＤ全長をＺとすると、腹側領域Ｆの股間部Ｃの幅方向ＷＤ中心から第１部分Ｍへ０．２５Ｚ、第２部分Ｎへ０．２５Ｚより幅方向ＷＤ内側に位置することが好ましく、より好ましくは腹側領域Ｆの股間部Ｃ幅方向ＷＤ中央に位置する。固定部１０の形状に決まりはなく、第１部分Ｍと第２部分Ｎを固定できれば良い。 In the second embodiment 200 shown in FIG. 4, when folded, the back sheet 5 in the abdominal region F is fixed at the first portion M and the second portion N. By providing the fixing portion 10, the arch shape toward the skin at the front side of the crotch area C is more strongly maintained than in the first embodiment 100, so that the unfoldable absorbent article is more likely to fit closely to the wearer's crotch, and even when the wearer moves, the arch shape is maintained, preventing leakage.
Since the fixing part 10 has the purpose of maintaining an arch shape along the crotch of the wearer, it is preferable that the fixing part 10 is located at a position where the apex part of the arch shape in the front-rear direction LD can be maintained at the center in the width direction WD of the crotch part C in the abdominal region F of the expanded absorbent article. The fixing part 10 is located at least in the crotch part C of the abdominal region F of the expanded absorbent article, and if the entire length in the width direction WD is Z, it is preferable that the fixing part 10 is located 0.25Z inward in the width direction WD from the center in the width direction WD of the crotch part C of the abdominal region F to the first part M and 0.25Z inward to the second part N, and more preferably, it is located at the center in the width direction WD of the crotch part C of the abdominal region F. 第２の態様２００では、股間部Ｃに固定部１０を設けることで、装着者の股間に展開型吸収性物品を密着させることができたが、これにより固定部１０後端で不自然なヨレが生じ、装着者に不快感を感じさせたり、ヨレた箇所から排出した尿の漏れが生じるおそれがある。
そこで、第３の態様３００では、図５（ｂ）及び図６（ｂ）で示すように、固定部１０後端部に接する背側領域Ｂにおいて、固定部１０延長線上にある吸収体６に剛性変化部１３を設け、固定部１０後端部で生じるヨレを解消し、第１の折り位置１での折りを滑らかにし、装着者の股間部Ｃにおける違和感を解消する。
剛性変化部１３は、吸収体６に図５のスリット１１や図６のエンボス１２を設けたり、部分的に目付けを増減することにより設けることができる。このような剛性変化部１３は、その形状に沿って尿を拡散する性質を有するため、縦縞状や縦長状にすると後方への尿の拡散が促進される。図５のスリット１１は、低剛性部のため、排尿後でも溝部の深さが維持され、複数回の排尿があっても、同じように尿が吸収体へ拡散される。図６のエンボス１２は固定部１０の延長線上に固定部１０後端部から背側方向に複数本延びており、高剛性部のため、着用者が動くことで吸収体６がヨレても、エンボス形状が維持されやすい。尿量が多いと、エンボス部の吸収体が膨張し、拡散効果が低くなってしまう。そのため、尿量が多い人はスリット、尿量が少ない人はエンボスの剛性変化部を有する展開型吸収性物品を使うことが好ましい。
剛性変化部１３の配置及び寸法は適宜定めることができる。剛性変化部１３の幅が、固定部１０の幅の２分の１より大きい場合、第１の折り位置１において折り曲げやすく、ヨレを解消しやすいため、より好ましい。剛性変化部１３の前後方向ＬＤの長さは、展開型吸収性物品の背側領域Ｂにおける股間部Ｃまでの長さにおさまっていることが、尿が装着者の臀部にまで伝わらないため、好ましい。また、装着時、前後にズレが生じた場合でも、対応できるように、股間部Ｃまでの長さがあることが好ましい。 In the second aspect 200, by providing the fixing part 10 in the crotch area C, the unfoldable absorbent article can be closely fitted to the wearer's crotch. The stiffness change portion 13 can be provided by providing the absorbent body 6 with slits 11 in FIG. 5 or embossments 12 in FIG. 6, or by partially increasing or decreasing the basis weight. Such stiffness change portion 13 has the property of diffusing urine along its shape, so when it is formed into a vertical stripe or vertically elongated shape, the diffusion of urine to the rear is promoted. Since the slits 11 in FIG. 5 are low stiffness portions, the depth of the groove portion is maintained even after urination, and even if the wearer urinates multiple times, the urine is diffused to the absorbent body in the same manner. The embossments 12 in FIG. 6 extend in a multiple manner from the rear end of the fixed part 10 toward the back side on the extension line of the fixed part 10, and since they are high stiffness portions, the embossed shape is easily maintained even if the absorbent body 6 is twisted by the wearer's movement. If the amount of urine is large, the absorbent body of the embossed part expands, and the diffusion effect is reduced. Therefore, it is preferable to use an expanded absorbent article having a stiffness change portion of slits for people with a large amount of urine, and an embossed part for people with a small amount of urine.
The arrangement and dimensions of the rigidity changing portion 13 can be determined as appropriate. It is more preferable that the width of the rigidity changing portion 13 is greater than half the width of the fixed portion 10, since it is easier to fold at the first folding position 1 and to eliminate twisting. It is preferable that the length of the rigidity changing portion 13 in the front-rear direction LD is within the length to the crotch portion C in the back region B of the developed absorbent article, since this prevents urine from reaching the buttocks of the wearer. It is also preferable that the length is long enough to reach the crotch portion C so that it can be accommodated even if a misalignment occurs in the front-rear direction when the article is worn.

第１～第３の態様１００、２００及び３００では、装着時展開型吸収性物品が装着者の身体に密着するが、展開型吸収性物品外側に位置する吸収性物品、例えばテープタイプおむつ等との関係では、特にフォローされているものではない。
図７及び図８に示す、第４の態様４００では、第３の態様３００に加えて、剥離可能な仮止め部１４を、第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎの少なくとも一方のバックシート５に設けることで、第２の折り位置２における腹側領域Ｆの二つ折りを維持するため、介護者は展開型吸収性物品を装着者の股の間に通しやすく、腹側から手で摘まんで引き抜きやすい。さらに、第１部分Ｍの裏面及び第２部分Ｎの裏面の少なくとも一方に設けた粘着剤又はメカニカルファスナーのフック材９により仮止め部１４を構成すると、仮止め部１４を剥離した後、アウターに対するズレ止めとして利用することができる。図７（ｂ）、（ｄ）及び図８で示すように、仮止め部１４はメカニカルファスナーのテープ材８とフック材９の組み合わせからなるものでもよい。仮止め部１４の一方をテープ材８、他方をフック材９とすると、装着後アウターに取り付ける際、フック材９のみがアウターに付き、腹側領域Ｆの第１部分Ｍもしくは第２部分Ｎの一方は固定され、他方は浮く可能性があるが、図７（ｂ）、（ｄ）及び図８のように、第１部分Ｍ、第２部分Ｎともにテープ材８とフック材９を有することで、装着前には第１部分Ｍと第２部分Ｎを仮止めでき、装着後は剥離して第１部分Ｍ、第２部分Ｎともにアウターに止めることが可能であり、安定して取り付けられる。テープ材８とフック材９の組み合わせ方や使う数に制限はない。
仮止め部１４は、展開型吸収性物品の第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎがアウターに接着されればよいので、第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎにそれぞれ位置するとよい。展開型吸収性物品の装着前は、第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎが剥離可能に接着されているので、第２の折り位置２を基準として線対称となる位置に設けるのがよい。しかし、固定部１０に近い位置に仮止め部１４があると、アーチ状を無理に開き、せっかくの固定部１０の効果が減る恐れがある。このため、仮止め部１４は、腹側領域Ｆ内の固定部１０から離れた位置にあることがよい。具体的には、展開型吸収性物品の第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎの下腹部Ｌ内に位置することが好く、図７（ｂ）及び（ｄ）で示すように腹側領域Ｆの両角部に位置すると、固定部１０から最も離れる上に、仮止め部１４を剥離しアウターに接着する際、吸収体６上のトップシート４に直接手で触る範囲が狭いため、衛生的にもより好ましい。
尚、図７（ａ）及び（ｂ）は、背側領域Ｂでスリット１１を有する。具体的には固定部１０の延長線上に固定部１０後端部から背側方向に延びる逆三角形型のスリットで、三角状にすることで、短冊状よりも長手方向への尿の勢いが維持され、拡散が促進される。また、剛性変化部１３を横縞状や横長状にすると、横方向への拡散が促進され、後ろに向かうにつれて幅が拡大する形状にすると、後方及び横方向の拡散促進効果を併せ持つものとなるため好ましい。図７（ｃ）及び（ｄ）は、エンボス１２を有し、前後方向ＬＤだけでなく、幅方向ＷＤに延びた剛性変化部１３であり、後方及び横方向へ尿が拡散されるため、好ましい形状である。具体的には、図７（ｃ）及び（ｄ）のエンボス１２は円弧状態にしていることで、尿の流れ方向を長手方向の一方方向から、横方向への流れに変化させた後、背側方向に伸びるエンボス部分に沿って長手方向に拡散させることができる。長手方向に複数本エンボスが形成されていることで、前後のズレが生じた場合でも、対応できる。展開型吸収性物品の背側領域Ｂが長い場合は、尿を後方へ流す縦縞状や縦長状の剛性変化部１３、展開型吸収性物品の長さが短い場合は、尿を後方及び横方向へ流す図７（ｂ）及び（ｄ）のような剛性変化部の形状が好ましい。 In the first to third aspects 100, 200 and 300, the open-type absorbent article comes into close contact with the wearer's body when worn, but no particular attention is paid to the relationship with an absorbent article positioned outside the open-type absorbent article, such as a tape-type diaper.

展開型吸収性物品がパッドタイプもしくはフラットタイプで、外側にテープタイプおむつ等の吸収性物品がある場合、図１０（ｂ）で示されるように、腹側領域Ｆの第１部分Ｍ及び第２部分Ｎの剥離可能な仮止め部１４をはがし、外側の吸収性物品に本製品を接着することで、前側の漏れを防ぎやすい。 (When worn)
