Claims (2)
- 薄板とその厚さ方向一方側に重ねて配された複数の厚板との重合部をスポット溶接で接合するための方法であって、
前記重合部に、一対の電極で挟持加圧した状態で通電するダイレクトスポット溶接を施して溶接点を形成する工程と、
前記溶接点に、前記薄板側のみから電極を押し付けて通電するインダイレクトスポット溶接を施して、前記薄板とこれに隣接する厚板とを接合する工程とを有するスポット溶接方法。 - 前記インダイレクトスポット溶接を施す前に、前記溶接点の前記薄板とこれに隣接する厚板とが接合されているか否かを判定する工程を有する請求項1に記載のスポット溶接方法。
