Claims (3)
- 筒状の開口部を有するライナーと、前記ライナーの開口部を閉塞するように前記開口部内に挿入される挿入部を有する蓋状部材と、を備える円筒形状のタンクであって、
前記挿入部には、外周溝が設けられ、
前記外周溝には、前記挿入部と前記開口部との間をシールするシール部材と、前記シール部材よりも前記タンクの外側に配置されたバックアップリングとが装着され、
前記バックアップリングは、長尺状のリング本体と、該リング本体の両端にそれぞれ形成されるとともに前記リング本体の長手方向に対して傾斜したバイアスカット面とを有し、
前記タンク内にガスが充填される前の初期状態において、前記バックアップリングは、前記タンクの軸方向と直交する径方向から見たときに、各バイアスカット面の全体が前記リング本体の一部と重なった状態で前記外周溝に装着されていることを特徴とするタンク。 - 2つの前記バイアスカット面のうち、前記シール部材に隣接する前記バイアスカット面の先端部分は、面取り加工され、R加工され、又はキャップ部材に覆われている請求項1に記載のタンク。
- 前記外周溝は、前記タンクの外側から内側に向って拡がるテーパ状底部を有し、
前記バックアップリングは、前記外周溝の前記テーパ状底部に対応するテーパ部を有する請求項1又は2に記載のタンク。
