また、別の従来技術は、ドアクローザーのアームにワイヤーを取り付けてドアを開閉するもので、通常の油圧式ではなく、ワイヤー式のものであるにすぎず、よって、本発明のようにワイヤーの先端をドアに直接着脱自在に取り付けるものではない。
【解決手段】 クローザー本体内に、ワイヤーの後端を固定した巻バネを設け、ワイヤーの先端をドアに取り付けると共に、ワイヤーの出入りを調整する調整具を設けてなることを特徴とする。

5は、ワイヤー4の出入を調整(締め付け)する調整具で、両側の支持ローラー5a・5aと中央の前後する押圧ローラー5bにより、転がり抵抗のある構成としている。
6は、平板状のドアストッパーで、例えば、バネ鋼によるものである。
