Application of Article 30,
The present invention relates to a method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of a tunnel face in a survey ahead of the tunnel face when excavating a tunnel, etc. In particular, it relates to a method for identifying fault zones and geological boundaries, which are important for the safety and quality of tunnel construction, and in particular, for identifying the three-dimensional structure of the reflection surface of seismic waves and the hardness and softness of the rock mass.
In tunnel construction, the elastic wave velocity distribution of the ground is estimated to ensure safe and efficient tunnel excavation and support work, and exploration is carried out ahead of the face, as understanding geological changes ahead of the excavation face and taking measures are necessary for safe and rapid excavation work. Examples of methods for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the face using a reflection method that utilizes elastic waves are shown in Patent Document 1 (JP 2016-095140 A) and Non-Patent
The gist of both methods is that the distribution of reflecting surfaces is estimated from the magnitude of reflected energy on an ellipse whose foci are the receiving point and the excitation point.
A technology for high-precision imaging of the area in front of a tunnel face using three-component reception of elastic waves is shown in Non-Patent
However, the conventional methods for detecting the area ahead of the tunnel face, including the techniques disclosed in the above-mentioned
In addition, with conventional methods for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the face, when estimating the three-dimensional distribution of reflection surfaces, it is necessary to take into account the geological structure and geological properties of the surrounding ground and to weight the components to be measured, and the results of such estimations of the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the face can vary depending on the considerations of the person performing the operation, which can lead to variability.
The present invention has been made to solve the problems in the conventional technology described above, and aims to provide a method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of a tunnel face in a survey ahead of the face of a tunnel, regardless of the skill of the person who processes the elastic wave data and performs the data analysis.
In order to achieve the above object, the method of estimating forward velocity in a forward exploration of a tunnel face of the present invention comprises installing a blasting signal detection means and an elastic wave recording means at a predetermined rear position away from the tunnel face, installing a plurality of seismometers on the inner wall surface of the tunnel, drilling blasting holes at the tunnel face in the tunnel and loading them with explosives, measuring the blasting signal generated from the blasting device to detonate the explosives, receiving and measuring the elastic waves generated from the tunnel face when the explosives are detonated with the seismometers, and recording the waves in the elastic wave recording means, repeating the above steps for each excavation of the tunnel face, extracting reflected waves from the elastic waves recorded in the elastic wave recording means for each excavation of the tunnel face, and calculating the forward velocity based on the reflected waves. This method for estimating a three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the face, which estimates the three-dimensional position of a reflection surface, is characterized by having an elastic wave separation and extraction step for separating and extracting direct waves and reflected waves from the elastic waves recorded in the elastic wave recording means for each excavation of the face, a forward reflected wave extraction step for extracting elastic wave data consisting of reflected waves propagating from ahead of the face from the elastic wave data consisting of the extracted reflected waves, and a data analysis step for analyzing multiple elastic wave data from the three-component elastic wave data acquired by each seismometer after extracting the elastic wave data consisting of reflected waves propagating from ahead of the face, and estimating the velocity structure.
In one aspect of the present invention, the data analysis step includes a waveform extraction step in which the elastic wave measurement record is divided into X, Y, and Z components for each unit, a CSV file is created, and after checking the waveform, defective waveforms are deleted, and the waveform to be analyzed is extracted and prepared; a geometry input step in which the coordinates of the vibration source and vibration receiver are added to the CSV file to input the geometry; an initial motion reading step in which the speed of the direct wave is read for each unit using the waveform component (X, Y, or Z) with the clearest initial motion; a noise removal step in which noise is removed by filtering the reflected wave data in the recorded waveform; a velocity filter processing step in which a velocity (τ-ρ) filter processing is performed to extract the reflected wave from the front; a mute processing step in which a mute processing is performed to remove the waveform before the initial motion generated by the velocity filter; and a process confirmation step in which the noise removal processing, velocity filter processing, and mute processing are confirmed for appropriateness or inappropriateness of the processed waveforms.
r=√(X2+Y2+Z2)

In another aspect of the present invention, in the data analysis step, when estimating the velocity structure, three component waveforms of X component, Y component, and Z component of the reflected wave are synthesized by calculation,
r = √( X2 + Y2 + Z2 )
Here, r is the strength of the reflected wave, X, Y, Z are the strengths of the X, Y, and Z components of the reflected wave,
A step of calculating the strength of the reflected wave by performing the calculation of
Projection component of the composite wave in the direction of the reflected wave r × cosθ
By calculating the above, the arrival direction of the reflected wave for each time change can be reproduced, and the magnitude of the reflected wave energy at any point (x i , y i , z i ) on the arrival direction can be calculated as follows:
r×cosθ(T i )
here,
T i : Position of the reflected wave on the time axis (time information)
and calculating the reflected energy of a reflection point for each receiving point.
In another aspect of the present invention, the data analysis step includes a step of setting a spatial distribution model of reflectors by giving the speed of elastic waves propagating through the rock as a known parameter based on the result of calculating the reflection energy of the reflection point for each receiving point, and a step of estimating the reflection amplitude from each minute spatial element of the spatial distribution model of the reflectors and performing imaging processing by migration on the coordinate transformation results of the three components X, Y, and Z using a three-dimensional algorithm for diffraction stack processing.
In another aspect of the present invention, the data analysis step includes a velocity analysis process in addition to the diffraction stacking process, and the velocity analysis process calculates the average velocity of multiple reflection surface sections and predicts the hardness or softness of the geology ahead of the drilling face.
The first feature of the present invention, the method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the tunnel face and the system for estimating the velocity ahead of the tunnel face used therein, makes it possible to easily perform analysis using a simple algorithm and estimate the velocity ahead of the tunnel face. As a result, the present invention can realize a method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the tunnel face and a system for estimating the velocity ahead of the tunnel face used therein, which can accurately estimate the reflection surface ahead of the tunnel face in three dimensions through data analysis using a simpler algorithm while suppressing equipment costs.
In this embodiment, a tunnel face velocity estimation system (tunnel face tester: TFT exploration) is constructed that uses excavation blasting at the tunnel face as the excitation source, and is applied to a tunnel excavation site. The details of the TFT exploration can be referenced in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's New Technology Information System (registration number: TH-170003-A). In the following explanation, an algorithm is presented that combines processing to estimate the three-dimensional structure on the other side (rear side) of a velocity discontinuity detected in front of the tunnel face, and its usefulness is verified. In addition, a method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure in front of the tunnel face is proposed by incorporating the above algorithm into a TFT exploration system and applying it to actual data.

(Operation description)
In the above-configured forward facing exploration system, the operation of implementing the elastic wave exploration method and the method of estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the facing, which are the premise of this embodiment, will be described. Note that the following explanation of the elastic wave exploration method (the operation of collecting elastic wave data) describes a method that is generally assumed to be performed using
In the tunnel face exploration system of this embodiment, first, a tunnel elastic wave exploration operation is performed to receive seismic waves generated by blasting and their elastic waves (reflected waves) to explore the condition of the ground ahead of the tunnel face, and then an "analysis" operation or an operation to estimate the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the tunnel face is performed.

Here, the distance between the face and the receiving unit C is measured using surveying equipment, and the distance data is input to the
In this way, blasting is performed when the face is excavated, and the blasting signal and the elastic wave (reflected wave) signal reflected from weak parts such as
The measurement and recording of blasting signals, reception, measurement and recording of elastic waves, which are performed while excavating the tunnel face, are repeated for each face excavation cycle without changing the reception and measurement points of the elastic waves. This results in the generation of waveforms generated by multiple excitation points. The elastic wave data for each face recorded in the elastic wave
2. Analysis Next, the analytical processing procedure of the method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the face in this embodiment will be described. Fig. 4 is an analytical flowchart explaining the processing procedure of the method for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure ahead of the face used in the present invention. The analytical procedure is classified into (1) pre-processing, (2) velocity structure estimation processing, and (3) imaging processing of the estimation result.
(1) Pre-processing In pre-processing, a process is performed to extract reflected waves from the reflection surface in front of the tunnel face. The elastic wave data required for predicting the area ahead of the tunnel face are the reflected waves from the tunnel base in front of the tunnel face. Therefore, only the reflected waves from the reflection surface in front of the tunnel face are extracted by signal processing such as band pass filters, deconvolution, and velocity filters. The analysis procedure is explained below.
この処理ステップでは、記録波形中の反射波をより明瞭にすることを目的に、必要に応じて、BPF(バンドパスフィルター)、AGC(Automatic Gain Control)、DECON(デコンボリューションフィルター)処理を行う。
(Elastic wave data analysis procedure)
Step S1: Prepare waveform file (delete defective waveforms, etc.)
In this processing step, the elastic wave measurement record (SEG2 file) is divided into X, Y, and Z components for each unit, and a CSV file is created. After checking the waveform, defective waveforms are deleted, and the waveforms to be analyzed are extracted and prepared.
Step S2: Input of geometry In this processing step, the coordinates of the vibration source and receiver points are added to the CSV file and used for subsequent processing.
Step S3: Initial reading (determining approximate speed)
In this processing step, the first motion travel time is read for each unit using the waveform component (X, Y, or Z) with the clearest first motion. At this stage, the direct wave velocity is read and the approximate velocity is determined.
Step S4: Filter processing (BPF, AGC, DECON, etc.)
In this processing step, BPF (band pass filter), AGC (automatic gain control), and DECON (deconvolution filter) processing are performed as necessary in order to make the reflected waves in the recorded waveform clearer.
Step S5: Velocity (τ-ρ) Filtering In this processing step, velocity filtering is performed to extract reflected waves from the front.
Step S6: Mute (before initial movement)
In this processing step, the pre-initiation waveform produced by the velocity filter is removed to reduce migration artifacts.
Step S7: Waveform confirmation process (see FIG. 5)
In this processing step, a waveform is output after each of the preceding steps S4, S5, and S6 to check whether the processing has been performed properly.
If it is determined that the process has not been performed properly, the process is performed again, for example by changing the process parameters in each preceding process step.
(2) Estimation of velocity structure After the above extraction process of reflected waves is performed, the next step is to estimate the velocity structure. Elastic waves reflected by reflectors such as faults propagate through rock masses at a uniform velocity and are observed as a time series by the three-component sensor of this system. By performing a rotational coordinate transformation of the data of the three components (X, Y, and Z), it is possible to synthesize reflected waves coming from any direction.
When elastic waves propagate through rock as a medium, the reflected wave at any point contains various components as it changes over time. Figure 6 shows an example of a reflected wave that contains various components as it changes over time. Figure 6 shows the reflected wave components in the X-Z plane, and indicates that the reflected wave contains various components within a certain width range in the X-axis and Z-axis directions as it changes over time.
At this point, if the reflected wave (elastic wave) is measured using sensors for three components, X, Y, and Z, the X, Y, and Z components of the reflected wave are obtained, as shown in Figure 7. Such reflected waves only capture a part of the original behavior.
r=√(X2+Y2+Z2)
The three component waveforms thus obtained are then synthesized by calculation. Fig. 8 is an explanatory diagram for explaining a method for obtaining a synthetic wave by synthesis processing from the X, Y, and Z components of the reflected wave. In Fig. 8, x i , y i , and z i represent arbitrary points in the direction of arrival of the reflected wave. The above calculation process is carried out in relation to the strength (r) of the reflected wave,
r = √( X2 + Y2 + Z2 )
r: strength of reflected wave; X, Y, Z: strength of the reflected wave is calculated by calculating the strength of each of the X, Y, and Z components of the reflected wave; and
Projection component of the composite wave in the direction of the reflected wave r × cosθ
The arrival direction of the reflected wave for each time change is reproduced by calculating the following. In this case, the magnitude of the reflected wave energy at an arbitrary point (x i , y i , z i ) on the arrival direction is expressed as follows:
r×cosθ(T i )
Here, T i is the position (time information) of the reflected wave on the time axis.
9 is a waveform showing an example of the X, Y, and Z composite waveform of the reflected wave obtained by the synthesis process according to the above calculation.
Ti=Li/Vp
In this way, by obtaining the distribution of reflected energy in the range set in front of the face, it becomes possible to image the reflecting surface. Figure 10 is an explanatory diagram explaining the method of obtaining the distribution of reflected energy and imaging the reflecting surface. In this method, assuming that the propagation distance is Li and the propagation speed Vp of the reflected wave is constant,
T i = L i / V p
Thus, any point (x i , y i , z i ) on the arrival direction can be obtained as time data. In this embodiment, the number of receiving points for the reflected wave is three or more, and the reflected energy of the reflection point is calculated for each receiving point.
When imaging underground structures using migration (data transfer) processing, the speed of elastic waves propagating through the rock mass is given as a known parameter. In order to estimate an appropriate migration speed, the face-ahead exploration system of this embodiment employs a velocity scan using 3D constant low-speed migration. A spatial distribution model of reflectors is set as shown in FIG. 10, and the reflection amplitude from each small spatial element is estimated. Using the three-dimensional algorithm of the diffraction stack method, an imaging process using migration is performed on the coordinate transformation results of the three components X, Y, and Z, and a reflection amplitude distribution (imaging result) for the given speed is obtained. If the given speed matches the observation data, the imaging result will be clear. The velocity structure can be estimated by finding the speed at which the image becomes clear. For example, 3D velocity scanning involves obtaining many imaging results while increasing the speed by 100 m/s from 4000 m/s to 5000 m/s, and estimating the appropriate velocity distribution from the results.

Next, the analysis procedure for performing the above-mentioned "estimation of velocity structure" process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
(Procedure for estimating velocity structure)
Step S8: Selection of waveform (component, UNIT) to be migrated. Decide which UNIT's record to use for migration, and whether to migrate each component or all three components, based on the quality of the waveform record, etc.
Step S9: Setting of migration target region Migration is performed and the forward range to be imaged is determined.
The default is X=200m, Y=Z=100m.
Step S10: Migration (initial speed)
In order to obtain an overview of the distribution of reflectors ahead of the face, migration is performed at a constant speed using the approximate speed determined in the initial reading.
Check the results in Voxler.
Step S11: Approximate Estimation of Reflective Surfaces The number and approximate locations of significant reflective surfaces are confirmed using the Voxller display or a bitmap diagram.
Step S12: Migration velocity analysis Based on the rough estimation result of the reflecting surface, the velocity range to be confirmed by the velocity analysis is determined, and the migration velocity analysis is carried out.
Step S13: Image confirmation by Voxler The image after migration is confirmed by Voxler.
Step S14: Acquisition of a velocity scan diagram The image of each elastic wave velocity and the state (strength) of the wave in the cross section obtained as a result of the migration velocity analysis is displayed. FIG. 11 is a diagram showing the image of each elastic wave velocity and the wave in the cross section displayed in the processing of step S14. In FIG. 11, the horizontal direction represents the elastic wave velocity, and the vertical direction represents the depth of the reflection surface. In the example of FIG. 11, 10 types of images are displayed in the direction of the elastic wave velocity, and 7 types of images (70 in total) are displayed in the depth direction of the reflection surface to display the image of the wave state, and the image with the clearest waveform among these images is selected to execute the estimation process of the velocity structure.
(Voxller)
Next, the analysis procedure for performing the "imaging of the estimation result" process will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
Processing procedure for imaging of estimated results Step S15: Determination of reflection surfaces and average velocity values Prominent reflection surfaces are extracted using each data of the XY cross section (on the tunnel axis) and the XZ cross section (cross section passing through the tunnel axis) extracted from the migration velocity analysis data (three-dimensional data volume of each velocity value), as well as a data file in which the maximum and minimum values of the data have been extracted for display.
As a result, an average velocity value to the extracted reflecting surface is obtained.
Step S16: Calculate the strike/dip of reflection surface and actual velocity and output the file. The actual velocity (interval velocity) between reflection surfaces is calculated from the direction, dip angle, and average velocity of each reflection surface extracted in the above process, and output to a CSV file.
Step S17: Graphing 3D TFT results (Voxler)
The data after migration and the reflection surface position data file are input into Voxler to obtain a final result diagram showing the reflection surface position and velocity value (Figure 12). Figure 12 shows the diagram obtained by the 3D TFT result. In Figure 12, the 3D TFT result is displayed as an XYZ three-dimensional figure.
As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, elastic wave data consisting only of waves reflected from in front of the face is extracted from elastic wave data consisting of waves reflected from various directions, and then data analysis is performed. This shortens the analysis time for estimating the three-dimensional velocity structure in front of the face, eliminates the need for interpretation by the person performing the analysis, and ensures uniformity in the analysis results.
