Description
図1は、実施形態に係るインサートの一例を示す斜視図である。図1に示すように、実施形態に係るインサート1は、切削工具用のインサートであり、たとえば、上面および下面(図1に示すZ軸と交わる面)の形状が平行四辺形である六面体形状を有する。
実施形態に係る基体10を構成するcBN質焼結体において、cBN質焼結体の断面におけるcBN粒子の面積占有率は、少なくとも60%以上であればよい。さらにcBN粒子11の面積占有率は、65%以上であってもよい。cBN粒子の面積占有率は、たとえば、cBN質焼結体の断面のSEM観察写真を分析することによって得ることができる。なお、cBN質焼結体のうち、cBN粒子以外の部分を結合相と言う。
次に、上述したインサート1を備えた切削工具の構成について図3を参照して説明する。図3は、実施形態に係る切削工具の一例を示す正面図である。
(耐摩耗性評価試験)
切削方法:旋削・外径加工
被削材 :SCM415(浸炭焼き入れ材)
切削速度:150m/min
送り速度:0.1mm/rev
切込み量:0.2mm
評価方法:摩耗量0.15mmに到達するまでの時間、もしくは、刃先状態から評価の中止を判断した時間
切削方法:旋削・端面加工
被削材 :SCM415(浸炭焼き入れ材) 8穴(φ10)
切削速度:150m/min
送り速度:0.2mm/rev
切込み量:0.2mm
評価方法:刃先欠損時の衝撃回数

Claims (5)
- cBNとTiNとを含有するcBN質焼結体を有し、
前記cBN質焼結体の結合相中にAlを0.5原子%以上、3.0原子%以下含有すると共に、
前記cBN質焼結体の断面観察において、前記cBNは60面積%以上を占め、
前記cBN質焼結体のX線回折における、前記cBNの(111)面のX線強度をcBN(111)とし、
前記cBN質焼結体のX線回折における、前記TiNの(200)面のX線強度をTiN(200)とした場合、
前記TiN(200)は、前記cBN(111)よりも大きい、インサート。 - 前記cBN質焼結体は、AlNと、Al2O3とを含有し、
前記cBN質焼結体のX線回折における、前記AlNの(100)面のX線強度をAlN(100)とし、
前記cBN質焼結体のX線回折における、前記Al2O3の(104)面のX線強度をAl2O3(104)とした場合、
前記AlN(100)は、前記Al2O3(104)よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のインサート。 - 前記cBN質焼結体は、TiB2を含有し、前記TiB2の(101)面のX線強度をTiB2(101)とした場合、
前記TiB2(101)は、前記cBN(111)の0.25倍以上である、請求項1または2に記載のインサート。 - 前記cBN質焼結体の上に位置する被覆膜をさらに有する、請求項1~3の何れか一つに記載のインサート。
- 端部にポケットを有する棒状のホルダと、
前記ポケット内に位置する、請求項1~4の何れか一つに記載のインサートと
を有する、切削工具。
