Description
[2]本発明に係る車両用灯具システムは、上記の車両用ランプユニットと、当該車両用ランプユニットの動作を制御する制御部を含む、車両用灯具システムである。
Claims (8)
- 光源と、
前記光源により生成された光の第1成分を反射して当該光の第2成分を透過させる光分岐素子と、
前記第2成分の偏光方向を変化させる光変調素子と、
前記第1成分と前記偏光方向の変化した前記第2成分がともに入射し、当該第1成分及び第2成分を用いて画像を生成する画像生成素子と、
前記画像生成素子によって生成される前記画像を車両周辺へ投影するレンズと、
を含み、
前記光分岐素子と前記光変調素子は一体の光学素子として構成されており、
前記光学素子は、
対向配置された第1基板及び第2基板と、
前記第1基板の前記第2基板と対向する側の一面において接着層を介して設けられており、前記光分岐素子として機能する光学膜と、
前記第2基板の前記第1基板と対向する一面に設けられた配向膜と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の各前記一面の間において前記光学膜と前記配向膜の間に設けられており、前記光変調素子として機能する液晶性媒体と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の各前記一面の間において、前記光学膜、前記配向膜及び前記液晶性媒体を囲んで設けられており、前記光学膜及び前記配向膜を介在させることなく前記第1基板と前記第2基板の各前記一面側と固着したシール材と、
を有し、
前記光学膜は、一軸延伸されたものであり、前記液晶性媒体は、少なくとも前記光学膜と接する界面近傍において前記光学膜の延伸方向に液晶分子が配向している、
車両用ランプユニット。 - 前記光学膜と前記液晶性媒体が直接的に接している、
請求項1に記載の車両用ランプユニット。 - 前記光学膜には配向処理が行われており、前記配向処理の方向が前記延伸方向と略平行である、
請求項1又は2に記載の車両用ランプユニット。 - 前記配向膜は、一軸配向規制力を有しており、
前記光学膜の延伸方向と前記配向膜の一軸配向規制力の方向とが略直交するように前記光学膜と前記配向膜とが配置されている、
請求項1又は2に記載の車両用ランプユニット。 - 前記配向膜は、一軸配向規制力を有しており、
前記光学膜の延伸方向と前記配向膜の一軸配向規制力の方向とが略反平行又は略平行となるように前記光学膜と前記配向膜とが配置されている、
請求項1又は2に記載の車両用ランプユニット。 - 前記液晶性媒体は、その一部又は全部がポリマー化されている、
請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の車両用ランプユニット。 - 前記光変調素子は、旋光性を有する素子、1/2波長素子又は1/4波長素子の何れかである、
請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載の車両用ランプユニット。 - 請求項1~7の何れか1項に記載の車両用ランプユニットと、当該車両用ランプユニットの動作を制御する制御部を含む、車両用灯具システム。
