ベース部20は、図6及び図14に示すように、例えば、矩形状の板状の鋼板に4つの光出射部25に対応して4つの開口部21を形成し、4つの開口部21の外側に後述するVばね31を挿通させるための4つの挿通孔22を形成したものである。ここで、4つの光出射部25の周囲のベース部20の上面には、図10~図14に示すように、下地材10の一部のクロスバー10bの下面がねじNにより固定されている。また、4つの光出射部25の間のベース部20の上面には、図10、図11及び図14に示すように、下地材10の一部のクロスバー10bの下面がねじNにより固定されている。なお、光出射部25の間のベース部20にクロスバー10bを固定するために設けられた複数のねじNは、図14に示すように、千鳥状に配置されている。また、4つの光出射部25の周囲のベース部20の上面には、図6に示すように、後述するVばね31の下部を受けるばね受け部27が平面視でコの字状に設けられている。なお、ばね受け部27は、図6~図8に示すように、例えば、板状の鋼板にコの字状の切り欠きを形成し、切り欠いた部分の基部を互いに逆方向に直角に2度折り曲げて成形したものであり、その基部がベース部20の上面にカシメ結合等により固定されている。

光出射部25は、図7、図8及び図15に示すように、光出射部25の上面の下側表面に設けられた発光基板23と、発光基板23の下側に発光基板23に対向するように設けられた光透過板24とを備えている。また、光出射部25の(発光基板23及び光透過板24以外の)本体は、図7及び図8に示すように、例えば、板状の鋼板を折り曲げて、下方が開口するように箱状に成形したものである。ここで、発光基板23は、図15に示すように、複数のLEDチップCが実装された回路基板であり、各光出射部25の箱上面の下側表面に固定されている。また、発光基板23の下側表面には、図15に示すように、複数の点状光源として、複数のLEDチップCが配置されている。なお、LEDチップCは、例えば、発光効率が106lm/W程度の明るさを有している。また、光透過板24は、乳白色のアクリル樹脂により形成され、各LEDチップCから出射した光の一部を透過するように構成され、図14に示すように、各光出射部25の箱内側面に固定されている。なお、発光基板23と光透過板24とは、各天井ボード15の厚さ(例えば、10mm)以上に離間するように設けられている。また、各光出射部25は、ベース部20の対応する開口部21の縁に溶接やカシメ結合等により固定されている。また、各光出射部25の箱内面は、複数のLEDチップ26から出射した光が反射するように、例えば、白色に塗装されている。また、各光出射部25の上面の上側表面には、図6~図8、図10、図11及び図15に示すように、例えば、鋼板製の複数のフィン26が直立した状態に互いに平行に延びるように設けられている。また、光透過板24は、図15に示すように、光透過板24が目に入らなくなる限界線と器具の水平線との角度である遮光角θが24°程度になる位置に設けられている。

以上説明したように、本実施形態の天井構造50及びその施工方法によれば、照明装置40を構成する本体パネル30は、水平に設けられたベース部20と、そのベース部20から上方に突出するように下方に開口する箱状にそれぞれ設けられた4つの光出射部25とを備えている。ここで、各光出射部25は、箱状の各光出射部25の上面の下側表面に設けられた発光基板23と、発光基板23の下側に発光基板23に対向するように設けられた光透過板24とを備えている。そして、本体パネル設置工程において、建物内の天井部に水平に固定された格子状の下地材10の下面に4つの光出射部25の周囲のベース部20の上面を固定する。これにより、本体パネル30を構成する箱状の4つの光出射部25は、下地材10の格子間に配置するので、各光出射部25の箱上面の下側表面に設けられた発光基板23を下地材10よりも上方に配置することができる。さらに、複数のLEDチップCが基板下側表面に配置された発光基板23の下側には、例えば、乳白色の光透過板24が設けられているので、人が見挙げた際のLEDチップCによる眩しさを抑制することができる。また、格子状に設けられた下地材10を切断することなく、照明装置40が取り付けられるので、下地材10の剛性を確保することができ、耐震性を向上させることができる。
