ヒンジ部により開閉可能に連結され、互いの挟持部の間に毛髪を挟んで加熱処理を行う一対の開閉部を有するヘアアイロンであって、
前記一対の開閉部に対し、前記挟持部の間隔が最小である閉じ位置からの開き方向への可動角度を変更可能な開度調節手段を備え
前記一対の開閉部の一方に設けられ、前記ヒンジ部を挟んで前記挟持部とは反対側に向けて突出する支持部を有し、
前記支持部に対して、前記ヒンジ部における前記一対の開閉部の回転中心である開閉軸と交差する回転軸を中心として回動可能に支持された回動部材を有し、
前記開度調節手段は、前記回動部材の外面に設けられ、前記回転軸を中心とする周方向での位置の違いに応じて径方向への突出量が異なる調節用突出部を有し、
前記一対の開閉部の他方に設けたストッパ部に対する前記調節用突出部の当接位置の変化により、前記一対の開閉部の前記可動角度が変更されることを特徴とするヘアアイロン。
