Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to wireless communication systems.
In recent years, close-range wireless communication systems have been proposed that perform wireless communication by electromagnetic coupling between adjacent antennas. If conventional wired connections using connectors and harnesses for communication between electronic circuit boards and modules can be made wireless, the number of parts in the connection parts can be reduced and the manufacturing process of devices can be simplified. There are advantages.
Patent Document 1 discloses that in a wireless communication system that performs close-range wireless communication using electromagnetic field coupling, a conductor is placed so as to overlap a coupler that functions as an antenna, thereby preventing signals leaking from the outside of the antenna. It is described that the effect of the antenna on the antenna is reduced.
By reducing the noise that enters the antenna from outside the antenna using the technique described in Patent Document 1, communication errors can be suppressed compared to the case where no noise countermeasures are taken. However, noise that causes communication errors is not limited to noise mixed into antennas. For example, communication errors may also occur when external noise enters a shaping circuit that shapes a signal output from a receiving antenna or a transmission line that connects the antenna and the circuit. On the other hand, if the entire communication module including the antenna and the shaping circuit is surrounded by a shielding member in order to prevent noise from entering, the communication device will become larger.
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object of the present invention is to suppress communication errors based on electromagnetic field coupling between couplers and to suppress the increase in size of a communication device.
In order to solve the above problems, a communication device according to the present invention has, for example, the following configuration. That is, the communication device includes a second coupler that couples to a first coupler of another communication device by at least one of electric field coupling and magnetic field coupling, and a second coupler that couples with a first coupler of another communication device, and a second coupler that is coupled to a first coupler of another communication device, and a second coupler that is coupled to a first coupler of another communication device, and a second coupler that is coupled to the first coupler of another communication device by at least one of electric field coupling and magnetic field coupling; a shaping circuit that shapes the waveform of the signal output from the second coupler, a receiving means that receives the signal waveform-shaped by the shaping circuit, a conductor portion surrounding the shaping circuit, and the second coupler. and a shield member having an arranged surface.
According to the present invention, it is possible to suppress communication errors based on electromagnetic field coupling between couplers and to suppress the increase in size of a communication device.
[System configuration and waveform]
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a configuration example of a wireless communication system 100 (hereinafter referred to as system 100) in this embodiment. The
The
The electromagnetic field coupling in this embodiment includes both electric field coupling and magnetic field coupling. That is, wireless communication between
The
The
Furthermore, when the
[Signal waveform]
FIG. 2 illustrates an example of a signal waveform transmitted in the
The
The
Next, a signal waveform when noise enters the
FIG. 2(b) shows a waveform when noise is mixed into the
There are the above three routes through which noise can be mixed, and noise can sometimes be mixed in through all three routes. By shielding the coupler 111 and the coupler 121 with a conductive member, the influence of noise in the case shown in FIG. 2(b) can be suppressed. However, the influence of noise in the cases shown in FIGS. 2(c) and 2(d) cannot be removed simply by shielding coupler 111 and coupler 121. Note that there is also a
[Noise reduction]
Next, the physical structure of the
In the configuration of FIG. 3, a
FIG. 4 shows another example of a structure for a
The coupler 111 and the coupler 121 are covered with a
FIG. 5 shows another example of a structure for a
First,
Next,
According to the configuration of FIG. 5, the
Note that as means for electrically connecting the
In the examples shown in FIGS. 5(a) to 5(c), a conductor functioning as a shield is arranged on the surface of the
In this embodiment, a configuration in which the coupler and the shield are integrated by MID has been described, but they may also be configured using two-color molding (insert molding) or the like. In that case, the coupler and shield are formed of sheet metal, and resin is molded around them. That is, the coupler and shield are formed within the same resin. However, the method of
In the configuration of FIG. 5, the length of the
6 and 7 show configurations in which the transmitting
Note that although the above explanation using FIGS. 1 to 7 has described unidirectional communication, the
